Korg Polysix through some Moogerfoogers

This is just a short sound exploration featuring the Korg Polysix running through some Moogerfoogers and Valhalla reverb. I was mainly just warming up my new setup. I kinda decided to bring out some analog hardware again cause I've been getting back into some post-punk/new wave music and I forgot how much I love analog gear, especially like super noisy stuff. The moogerfoogers used are the MF-108M, MF-104M and MF-103. I also used a mini fooger ring mod. The MS-20 isn't being used in this vid. For reverb I'm using the ValhallaDSP Room plugin set to a large cathedral preset. There's also a bit of drums coming from Ableton via some CR-78 samples.

Maybe I asked you elsewhere - do you find your Polysix has a lot of noise? My unit is pretty bad in that regard.

really great! love those ring mod bell tones + also the grittiness of the polysix does add a lot of character. Did you use the ensemble/phaser/chorus of the polysix only @5:20 ?

Sounds great! Loving this set up. Just curious about a couple of things: what’s going on with that patchbay thing on top of the MS-20? Also, the PolySix is sitting nicely in the front of the desk. Are you using that platform desk from output?

The polysix is just on a K&M keyboard stand in front of the desk, nothing fancy. I'm using the patchbay to easily switch between the MS-20 and Polysix (and the moogerfoogers) because I have limited inputs in my interface. So in this video the patchbay is routing the polysix through the moogerfoogers and then into my interface, but I can change it to be the MS-20 with just one patch cable change.

Love the sound and there are a lot of things that could and really deserve to be completed in one whole composition as opposed to sound segments. Maybe some day?
