I totally agree. Just got a NTS-1 last week, and I'm amazed by it's capabilities. The fact that you can load custom user made (or make yourself!) oscillators and effects made we fall in love with this little box straight away. I've tried some of the free stuff around the Internet and some of the oscillator and effects are really cool and useful. And, great jam btw. So much sound and feeling from little gear. Great job! 👌🏻

The NTS-1 is great. I'll probably end up getting another one at some point because I can never make my mind up if I want to use it as a synth or effects unit. The Volca Modular sounds fantastic with the NTS-1 in this video. Very impressive.

No. At least not out of the box anyways. This one is USB powered only. In this video, I am using a portable phone charger to power the device, but you can also use a regular phone charger, a usb port on your computer, or even your phone... with the right adapter of course. Thank you! 😊 I use a Zoom H6 handheld digital recorder. It is an awesome tool in the studio. It can be used to record sound directly onto an SD card or be used as an interface for recording into a DAW or recording software. 👍

Hey! Thank you. 😊 Glad you enjoy my work. If you have the space and money for a Prologue... why not? Lol I'm sure that synth can cover a wide range of sonic territory. I have the Korg Minilogue XD and I absolutely love it, so I can only imagine what the Prologue is capable of. As far as drums, why not use the Electribe for drums? Or If you really like those JDXI sounds, why not just get that and cover your synth and drum sounds all I one? Or if you really just like the Roland drum sounds... maybe check out the TR8s. Honestly, there are soooo many options out there. It is all a matter of narrowing them down to what you feel would best fit into your workflow. I like to always take into consideration: connectivity, price, and size. Those are important to me. 👍 Good luck on your gear hunt

@@littleBIGsynths thanks so much Damian for your reply. I am still learning really so not sure how to use the electribe for drums- i suppose i would sample the sounds in first? I wouldn't have to go Roland drum machine and could go for something less slick maybe? The jdxi seemed to include so many like tr606, tr626, cr78, etc maybe i could sample them into the electribe? Thank you! 🙂 Congrats on reciveing your NTS-1. It is a super awesome little synth without a doubt. 👍 You will need a Korg type 3.5mm MIDI din cable. The same ones used for the Korg SQ-1, Electribe 2, and other korg devices. You should be able to pick one up on amazon. I have now assembled my NTS-1 and had some great sounds from it😀 Midi breakout I'm still not sure about , some say type A(KORG) others say Arturia use type B ?!? They cost about £12 so they're not cheap. Anyway thanks again and keep up the good work✌️🏼🐂💨💨💨💨💨💨💨💨
