I just got my Wavestate a few weeks ago, very reasonably priced for what it is, still investigating some of its "hidden" secrets, trying to create presets, etc.. My only complaint might be that I wish it had 61 keys, instead of the shorter keyboard it comes with. My compromise is to use the Arturia Keylab61 MIDI controller keyboard. Good instructional demo, straightforward, clearly explained examples. Also, very nice playing . . . Suggestion, maybe include the feature that comes with the Modwave, showing the waveforms as they're created on the LCD screen (maybe have a slightly larger screen, it can't cost that much more).

Thanks Tony, always welcome your elegant and inspiring playing, this is a truly players-oriented machine !. I'm having a hard time deciding between this Korg, and the mighty Juno X, I think Korg's keybed is better, right ? PD As if that were not enough, I dream of the new Montage too 😃

Had a few keyboards from you, the last one was the SX900 do love the Korg pa 4x ability to create styles from songs a much needed AI on Yamaha keyboards. When are we going to see a new Yamaha keyboard and with that function?

Tony gteat and thanks, Do you think the sounds here are close to the nautilus or its difrent ? I know that the wavestate is for other use and diferent synth category , i want to buy it as a modul to conect via midi to my roland rd 2000? Is the hammond sound are good also on the wavestate like cx 3 angien .. Thanks ..a lot for your perfect demos

I do own the 'small' Wavestate. I won't say it is a bad synth, because bad synths do not exist. But there is something about the Wavestate sound I do not like. Can't tell what it is (like it is flat and not really exiting...) but it is not the most favorable of my 16-piece hardware -synth collection.

Good idea to deliver the Wavestate with a 61-key keyboard and metal housing - very bad idea if you overdo it with the price

I agree, maybe include the feature that comes with the Modwave, showing the waveforms as they're created. I actually use a Tektronix 2213A for this, but it would be cool if Korg made this feature available on the Wavestate too, and yes, a larger LCD screen (it can't cost that much more to make a larger screen available).

I never use it. I cant get the arp to latch/hold. Unable to update the firmware (check videos on that). I have 20 x other synths that are easy to use and fun. Korg is not a brand I enjoy. I'll give it another go when I have more time. Its not been switched on for 12 months. It just sounds like crappy samples. I hate it with a passion.

@@taituara Hey taituara, there is a very good tutorial by XNB youtuber for the wavestate - its only 5 hours long why dont you watch it in full and we will have a pop quiz on using it?
