One of the best sampling of the Korg keyboard I’ve heard yet (11/24/2023), I own one and just amazed on what you can do with it. Roland, Korg are the top manufacturers for affordable music machines! Rock my world to the outer limits!!!
I have a Triton Rack and, Wave station Sr Im a big Korg fan My most use synth is the Korg M50 (my desert island synth) How does the sounds of the M50 compare to the X50?
I used to own a Korg TR 61. Ive had people say thats the trinity. No the trinity is the trinity. May be in the same family. No longer produces ai paid about 1300 bucks on sale at guitar center. I loved all the sounds and I felt it was a quality keyboard. I see they are still selling used for almost twice what the X 59 sells for. Can anyone tell me the difference in quality and sounds etc. The screen on the X50 is 9identicle to the TR 61. Ive been listening to te sounds in combination bank B nd C sounds great but im also listening to it through an iPad Pro which for its size sounds good. Any comments would help/
The Tr 61 I thought it’s sounds , programs and combos were excellent especially played through my QSC2400 stereo power amp and my 2- 410 bass and FRFR cabinets which I replaced the excellent speakers that came with the cabs and installed Neo magnet 300 watt RMS X4 is 1200 watt rms x 2 cabs is 2400 watt rms. Try hey aren’t made any more the SWR GOLLIATH III And I made both cabinets 4 ohm so when I’m playing bass the cabinets are set for 2 ohms parallel my Carvin BX 550 bass amp which is a class D mono block is under powered for my two cabinets but the speakers are super effecent so it really has no trouble thundering a room it doesn’t get blocked out by anything. Yeah with synths like any of these the only system really is through a powerful PA and 2smaller powered monitors for on stage. You can play quiet strings and gently fill a room! Anyway I’m sure you know all this . I’m 69 years old been tempted to sell some of my amps since I don’t play out anymore . But I love them all too much so as long as my grandkids are rocking I’ll just let them fight over all of it after I die. When I was younger I thought my dad was going to leave me a pile of cash. Because he was a developer of land and subdivisions . He started in 1955. But I think he retired too early . At 62. Then he lived too long. He died at 88 my mom is still alive at 94 and my greedy older sister took all her money and is “protecting” it till mom passed on . That money bull shit can ruin a family cheers
2 weeks ago i purchased a used korg tr rack. Terribly disappointed. I knew it wouldent have keys but the u i is terrible. Sounds are great. I could never use it live you guess your way through the buttons. No way to set up patches. So im selling that.
