the thing that amazes me how does a drummer cant play a slower song? this means you're not that great of a drummer. its one of the primary reasons why people say lars sucks.
on a second note...they've even stated that that since having Joey J playing drums with them... they have started to play much older tracks (a huge plus for fans)
Yes, he did. There was an article in Kerrang about it and he was interviewed. He can be quoted as saying: "I had a real moment of clarity last year. My girlfriend at the time, a girl who I thought I was gonna be with forever, cheated on me and I went on a three-week coke binge. I actually wrote some of the riffs for the new album ['All Hope Is Gone'] around that time, which is the only good thing to come out of it. But I just wasn't having fun anymore and my family knew it."
I do enjoy the sped pace of the song, I just feel like that the backline vocals really screwed it at some points, and only if brain head welch where there to back sing, it would of be so much better. It's my favorite Korn song even when not sped up.
I respect your response, It is THEIR sound, and many bands have ripped them off and even they are trying to find their old selves, BUT without David and Head, Its NOT KORN, Period
Y'know, for this bein after they lose David and Head, they pulled this off pretty damn well. That last minute and a half, gave me goosebumps it had that old school heavy 'nu metal thrash' feel to it! And yeah most metal ive heard live is played faster, it kinda works to keep the pace since they're tryin to get their audience moshing lol
i am so fucking jacked to see them this summer Korn is the greatest i hope they continue to play this song too in their sets. I am traveling 6 hours to see them and i am fired up. They are so fucking good greatest band
yeah XD that ROX, i lost the KoRn live @ RaR show yesterday becuz i sleeped on the couch (that was sux). But thanks to you, i could watch this video now anytime! =D THANK YOU, DUDE, THANK YOU!
They're not gone. their 9th album is being recorded nd produced by Rick Robinson, who did Korn and Life is Peachy. they're goin back 2 their hevier roots nd Head may play with them again.
Seen Korn four times and they are great but the best band in the world is TOOL. Granted TOOL has gone softer with their newer material but so has Korn, Mudvayne, System of a Down, Metallica and the list goes on and on. Going to see Korn in September and love them but if anyone has seen TOOL live you understand my point. Maynard is not only the best all time rock singer but he is also the best all time rock song writer. Even the rock bands of today admit they are the best, enough said.
why does everyone say SEVENDUSTS guitar he is no longer in sevendust he has a new band, Dark New Day sevendust still have both their guitarists Sonny Mayo (Snot) is the new guitarist there as far as korn is concerned this band is better now than ever after reading interviews from both sides band/touring members they feel better than ever..i believe it..seen em 3 times in last year and they keep getting better tighter sounding its good to see a band still continue to evolve and make great music
Hey man thats cool. Music is kind of like food and it is a matter of preference. You really cannot get the full experience of TOOL from watching RU-vid or videos. If you get the chance see them live and I promise you will not be disappointed. Although if you like heavier concerts, the 90's TOOL shows would have been more up your alley. I think Clown or It's On are Korns best songs and of course Blind. Wish I could have been at woodstock 99 when Korn went off. Cheers...
They didn´t speed it up becaus of the limited time.... In some parts they were suprised that Joey plays so fast. It´s Joeys style, different from Silverias style.
