Fun fact, this song and video was one of the most requested on Total Request Live (TRL) on MTV when it debuted. And when KoRn played this at Woodstock 99, We all “got our boogie on” 😂
brings me back watching fuse and mtv. I remember watching bands like taking back sunday, Korn, blink182, sum 41, flyleaf, good charlotte, deftones, and the bloodhound gang. How i miss that time.
Please do Somebody Someone by Korn. My favorite...still to this day it gives me such massive chills and in such a odd way. My brain seems to always go to Charlie Brown and the Pumpkin Patch....I dunno lol . I guess I heard this song first right when I watched that or something. Anyway. Amazing song and do that one next. LOL
You are my fav reaction person now you beautiful girl you! Love the fact you let the video play and give your thoughts in the caption words. Then when its done you sum everything up! Well done thank you so much this band holds a special place in my heart and in my life!
Great KoRn reaction. The best there is. I know there were plenty cameos in this video, but Dub-C from the supergroup Westside Connection and Eminem were the ones that stood out. Another awesome Korn video that will get you swinging is Twisted Transistor 🤘
The reason for the shock, was that for this album, Follow the Leader, and each song one picks up where the last left off. The beginning of "Got the Life" is the end of "It's On", Freak on a Leash feeds into "Falling away from me" (I highly recommend if you haven't already heard it). There are several that overlap.
The song and video is about how they didn't want fame, nor cared about expensive shit, fancy cars and luxuries. They just wanted to do what they liked.
I would just blur the video out, its more about the person's reaction, and feelings towards the artists/band/song than the actual video. We used to drag main street listening to korn so much, & spending way way too much on amps and speakers for the car...so much money gone...it was worth it lol
This is my favorite song they do. I interpret it as a person (me) not always appreciating what youve got until someone (God) tells you to take a look at all the good things you have.
I absolutely love watching you watch these videos and hear these legendary bands with fresh, much younger ears. Korn are now officially rock divinity and changed how rock was done at the time, always will love korn. You should react to Kim Dracula. You need to check it out!!!
I remember hearing Korn, way back in the post grunge days, '93-5 having a huge Dish, in the yard, but...had more to listen to or more musically diverse channels to listen to rather than VH-1 or MTV. dial-up internet, AOL...lol😂
@6:18 Eminem in the video. Apparently he went there and gave Munky his mixtape and Munky said he would check it out but was a drunk. Then Dre signed him and the rest is history.
I guess I just hadn't seen this in a really long time, but it had completely skipped my mind that Fred Durst and Jay Gordon were featured right at the end. Boom?
198 like here ^^ hello. I covered this song with my band because I realy wanted to play the bassline. love your reaction and upload! sending you loves and hugs
I loved this video so much back in the day. There was such a rejection of the more materialistic stuff that comes from fame. It's cool if its your thing and can handle it all, but it was never something that interested me, so the visuals of them ditching all the expensive wares and performance for executive types to hang out with their friends - the people that truly made them rich - was so important to me.
@@jeromyturcotte3733 oh yeah. I was a little tipsy during the follow the leader and issues days lol. Plus they were really released close together if I can remember correctly.
I think it's funny that for them, the most metal thing they could think to do for this song is to make one of their videos look like the kind of pop videos that filled MTV: cranked-up color saturation, shallow focus wide shots, fisheye lenses, and wealth fetishisation.
Eminem was at the party in the last 15 or so seconds of the video. He is in a shot too. The guitarist brian , from korn, said m offered him a mixtape and he either turned it down or didn't listen to it.
I love the end where you see mad cameos from other celebs. Limo bizkit. Pretty sure someone from orgy, and of course UFC legend Tito Ortiz lol. How random
I would love for you to react to some of their newer stuff. There is so any good songs they have made. Try Cold, Idiosycracy, Narcistic Cannibal or even something very different Never, Never,
Yeah funny that you mentioned scatting because Jonathan Davis was influenced by blues and jazz scattering and he did a hip hop beatboxing style of scatting
this was my favorite Korn song next to falling away from me. i was between 10-13. man what an era. better song better music vids(next to the 80's), better pizza Papa Johns. also like how you dont interrupt. k bye.
Oh no, they didn't give a homeless guy a car and he wrecked it, that was a different car and situation entirely lol They gave him a black car, but the other two band members wrecked a red car. Also check out 'Insane' by Korn, it has a heavy waltz style chorus and the music video is based in very early america. Kind of victorian if you could call it that.
Love this channel, so much better than when they pause every 2 seconds, it ruins the song. I’m sorry about copyright, yea maybe blurring/blocking some of the video may help. I’ve also heard that the unstopped music leads to copyright so maybe you could pause once or twice idk
