@@pkmindbreak848 To some extent probably. They obviously wouldn’t be able to go to far off the rails as that would probably breach their contracts, but something like this wouldn’t be an issue. That’s just my guess at least. We don’t really know outside of past evidence and similar “breaks” in character
@@pkmindbreak848 They have to try to, but it's not a big deal if they break character once in a while. I remember during one of the early OkaKoro teetee streams, Okayu woke up in the middle of the night and joined Korone, but as she was sitting next to her she almost nudged Korone out of the way of the camera and Korone said "Wait, if you'll do that you'll become Korone!". It was pretty cute.
Can we just take a minute to appreciate the fact this guy went out of his way to translate the actual in game text and make it look as authentic as possible. You a real one and I appreciate you 😃
Subbers and Editors do us a bulk of work by typesetting! It isn't too hard these days to do so, but finding a font that somewhat matches the program's does get tedious at times. Especially if we want to dodge potential strikes for using a licensed font.

I'm worried that would happen to another one but without clothes on... as many said they didn't even wear a bra or anything or just naked in front of the pc... even I would never do that. And I don't stream.
I love how she breaks character for a hot minute when she first reads the line lmao. Like, her fight or flight kicked in and she was like: “SHIT, THIS IS HOW I PAY MY BILLS, I CAN’T RUIN IT HERE”
Reminds me of when Towa accidently activated a webcam when playing with Coco way back. Lucky nothing was really visable but it was probably one of the few times Coco sounded genuinely paniked.
I like how Korone said “Even if the camera turns on, I’m still Korone” since it could both mean two things 1. Korone staying in Character as Korone OR 2. Even if it DID show, she's assuring them that she is STILL the same Korone

Well a couple of months ago about 20 k people watched Rushia struggle to choose a hairstyle for her MonHun character for over an hour and a half (and we loved every second of it). For the marathon-trained Koronesuki, it would be just a warm-up.

@@Nukle0n As the OP said - this was a legitimate concern. On 3DS we had Tomodachi Life - great game btw - one of dreams your character could have is live recording of the console camera. No warning whatsoever, you go in to see another haha funny dreams and boom your face is all over the internet
There is a light detector on the main switch's body that's used for the adaptive screen brightness tuning. It's closer to the definition of a camera than the IR sensor.
@@wyverntale1227 there are capture cards for handheld devices like 3DS (though they are a pain to get and a pain to use, I hear), and even if you can’t stream straight from the capture card, you can stream the window of the game on the computer.
Using a 3rd party DS capture card is the exact reason why Cover is so careful about permissions now and why thousands of VODs were deleted last year. So no, streaming any 3ds games isnt going to happen any time soon

Yes there are pictures of her actual face but she plays a character on stream and it's basically a theatrical crime to break character plus she was willing to show her face in those pictures and she wasn't ready here
I feel so bad for her. Something similar happened to my classmate. He is a somewhat big RU-vid(if you count 40k subs as big) cuz somehow some of his videos got popular in a weird community then while streaming he accidentally opened his camera instead of sharing his screen and even tho his face was only seen for 1 second he was panicking so much. Not cuz of doxxing or whatever but just cuz he doesn’t want his viewers to see what he calls his “ugly” face.
I hope there aren't any crazy unhinged fans to validate her fears of an involuntary face reveal. While most fans would agree- no matter who was behind the avatar they'd still love her for her personality on display in all her streams- all it really takes is one bad apple to make Korone's life really, really shitty and stressful
Technically speaking, the Switch DOES have a camera (on the right Joy-Con). However, it's an infrared sensor/camera and can't snap photos like a traditional camera (as far as I'm aware).
I feel like this is any streamers who aren't regularly on camera worst fear I could imagine someone like Vinny or Joel panic in a similar situation if suddenly a camera was going to be turned on and they weren't planning on it
This would actually make for an epic joke if they manage to pipe their digital avatar output into the webcam input. Then play a game that actually tries to take a pic of you, and surprise everyone when dog Korone turns up on the screen. For safety they can just block the real webcam in case something goes wrong.

I think they wanted to avoid getting suspected for spying into the privacy of people like how other companies can spy with their hardware in modern age.

I would like to point out that even if this did take a real-life picture of her, it shouldn’t matter. The person behind the screen and the anime Vtuber are two different people in the same person. We’re watching for Korone, I’d hope, and not just to throw money at girl. Therefore, a real life face reveal wouldn’t change anything, because we never were watching her. We’re watching for her, Korone, and her personality. *Her* jokes, mishaps, emotions, and triumphs. She said it herself. “Even if the camera turns on, I’m still Korone.”

What I find funny is imagining if there was camera on the Switch.. how much use would it have since most people I think would be playing docked and some I know have their dock kinda half behind their TV anyways so it'd be like... "yes your face is totally all these wires and the backside of a TV" Also.. would be freaky if a cutesy game like this was like "yes we'll put actual faces of kids on your in-game passport" that totally wouldn't get lewd real quick if some idiots.. "had fun"
For the person who wrote the decsription, the only DS models that haf a camera were the DSi and DSi XL. The DS and DS Lite didn't, unless you got a Japan only accessory that came with the Japanese version of Face Training (localised versions were DSi exclusive).
@@sammierussell6361 That was mentioned in the description though. I'm talking about the fact it says the DS had a cemera when only 2 of the 4 models had cameras. It does leave out the 3DS, all of which had cameras though.
