Here are translated lyrics. Glad you enjoyed some Finnish folk metal ! Your pronounciation was fine, there is also song called Vodka from this band which is amazing. To the Sauna Where white birches hum in the wind and water bubbles on the gray stones of the shore There the trunk of the thickest pine creaks "It's falling!" wails the woodsman We've soon felled a whole forest's worth of logs and for our thirst we have enjoyed a tubful My head is wet, my back is already aching "Heat up the sauna stove!" Fellas, now we're off to the sauna Go on and build a fire in the stove And so the log bursts into flames! We go to the sauna, and every man screams: "Bring that sahti and some hot Jägermeister" Let's go to the sauna, there's no need to skulk around with a hangover when the sauna is full and the stove is hot Let's go to the sauna, there is joy and peace There's a crate of beer and the fire is blaring Only in the morning will the damper be closed so wet your sauna whisk and start whipping! We made the whisks from birch branches And from the gray stones of the shore we built the stove A woodsman's work is hard "The gloves are off!" and the belt falls down Smoke begins to irritate the eyes and the firewater burns the throat Someone reaches for the door handle to cool off "The heat will escape" yells a choir in the sauna Go on and put in more firewood We will keep whipping throughout the night!
Ah, you discovered Korpiklaani! < Love them. They have been around forever. :D You really should do a reaction to Nanowar's "La polenta..." I bet you will love that.
Saw them a few year's ago they were supporting Sabaton with another band called Tyr. I'd never heard of either but some of their songs Vodka, Tequilla and Rauta I like, as for Tyr there's one " Hold the heathens hammer high"
This was a great band that I have never heard before.🔥 My thoughts were mostly about how fit an Irish or Scottish dancer would have to be to keep up with that "jiggy" beat.😅😂🤭 Folk Metal is so inspirational and interesting. The Hu, to NiNi , then to this ...Great👍🌹👍 🥰🥰🥰🇨🇦
it's funny that you mentioned that it's like Nightwish and Steve 'n' seagulls had a child who was a korpiklaani. (korpiklaani -> backwoodclan) all these bands are from Finland... quite well pronounced that Korpiklaani. Greetings from Finland 🇫🇮🤘
@@AriasandtheNATION A band that dress up in monster costumes. They play hard rock and pretty cool. As Suzanne has mentioned, they won Eurovision song contest. I do suggest Devil is a Loser as a good song to start with.
Thanks for the reaction. Folk Metal is simply the best. I have a VR headset and there's a rhythm game called Ragnarock where you bang drums on a Viking longship. It has all this kind of music, Feuerschwanz, Saltatio Mortis. It's a dream.
I think that maybe I was supposed to be born a Finn. I like everything Finnish, and I absolutely loved this band and song. Next stop, trying to make Finnish Salmon Soup - Lohikeitto.
I just bought tickets a few minutes ago to see this band (along with Alestorm and Heidevolk) so of course when your video popped up I had to take a look. Don't actually know this song but it's very Korpiklaani, good to know they haven't changed their style much over the years. Very good drinking music. They have a lot of good songs, ones that come to mind immediately are Vodka and Man With A Plan. I'll be refreshing my memory over the next month so I'm ready to see them
When i first time heard this song first time, it got its place almost to one of my fav korpiklaani song, i think this or rauta is favourite, i think rauta is good but not as strong as this, then this might be secodn and kotomaa and niemi is third and dourth too💪🇫🇮🗿🚜
Great band! A fun thing about them: Although they are Finnish, they are actually much more popular in Germany than in Finnland. They said in an interview that Finnish people see them more like "old people's music". There are much more great songs, e.g. "Vodka", but also "Rauta" or "Happy Little Boozer".
Hey Daniel. I told you about Korpiklaani when I asked if you were going to their concert with Visions Of Atlantis and Illumishade (5-5 in Baltimore) Korpiklaani is one helluva band to listen to and drink to for sure.
