Love what you guys are doing, got sent here from the Playing With Power discord, but if you could play Godo, or God Eternal kefnet, that would be neato.
Always nice to see more cEDH content ! Gameplay description and pace are on point. The visual interface could be more minimalist. All and all, great video ! Subscribed.
It can be difficult to keep up with other commander youtube videos. I totally dig the pace, explanations and commentary you guys provide. More episodes please !!!!
Great narration and overlay! It's especially nice to see the panning out, for lack of a better description, to create space for the stack. That's probably the most confusing part of watching any Commander game on YT, and that extra effort helps a ton in clearing that confusion.
Excellent channel! As someone who's subscribed to most of the edh channels on YT I am very happy with the quality of your game, F/X, edit, and commentary. Looking forward to all your future uploads.
I watched your 2nd video during a break time in school and had lots of fun seeing more competitive edh games on youtube. I cant wait to watch the cEDH community grow even more!
This channel just made me so happy. Im not the biggest fan of cedh just because i dont really have the many to make the blue decks LOL but its so refreshing to see someone make videos in the magic community that look this good. Wow. The video and sound are so aesthetically please
Wow, super nice video here guys ! Can't wait to see the next video If I may, I would suggest you to slightly reduce some HUD size, some of them looks really big But the stack moving to right is just a super idea, keep going that way !
As a Yisan player I have to say that the Yisan deck could use a bit less non-creature ramp. Specifically, verdant bloom and skyshroud claim could easily be replaced with some fast mana dorks, that could have allowed the yisan player to activate yisan...at least once. Secondly, playing karametra's accolade seemed very odd. For one thing, building verse counters is paramount to the success of yisan, and is card advantage. Secondly, karametra's accolade has a higher chance of being removed if you play it so early. This is important because the accolade has many different combos associated with it, so playing it without any board of protection was probably the wrong move, essentially compared to tutoring out a sylvan safekeeper. I really loved this first episode. Thanks for producing such an exciting video!
I appreciate the feedback, I do agree the acolyte was a bad play. In my head it was either that or skyshroud to get extra mana for the following turn to activate yisan multiple times. Knowing the other decks i knew there wouldn't be much if any targeted removal for my creatures but I was not expecting the cyclonic turn 3. If you wanna give me any tips on tapped out from the decklist in the description it would be much appreciated. Still a bit new to yisan so I'm trying to learn the best moves to do.
@@Sliver_Boi My man, if you haven't yet, you definitely need to read the Yisan primer at the bottom of Shapers page: tappedout.net/mtg-decks/wanderers-song/
@@Sliver_Boi Overall I would say you're decklist is actually pretty solid. As MeloDeath mentioned, shapersavant's decklist and tips/tricks are incredibly useful, and is a great place to start learning the deck. Also, you do make a good point in regards to sylvan safekeeper, but even so I think safekeeper would have been safer. That being said, grabbing a 1 mana untapper also could have been a good option. I'd say that activating yisan should be priority number 1, and that, weirdly, cards in your hand should probably be looked at as extra cards that can be used if Yisan is tapped or it's critical that you use a card. Thank you for reading my comment! Just the fact that you replied shows me how much you care about edh and it makes me happy :)
Your video is really good! The pacing, cuts, stack on the side, highlighted card in the middle is easy to read, and floating mana by the names makes it easy to watch. I really enjoyed it. Subbed!
really nice touch of showing the floating mana and showing the stack. Maybe not the strongest but it would be cool to see Gonti on the show, he's my fav.
One thing I love about seeing new content and new creators is a banging logo. This croc is super cute and I am already on board for more videos in the future!
REALLY appreciate you being honest about the competitive level rather than stating cEDH if you intend to have some suboptimal choices/builds. There's def a percentage wanting this style. Solid editing of the game and explanations. Looking forward to more competitive gameplay!!
This is high quality content ESPECIALLY for a 1st episode! Smashed the subscribe button immediately, looking forward to your future content and being one of the early subscribers!
I really like all the love you guys are receiving from the other content creators! Muddstah and Playing with Power are two of my favorites! Keep it up!
We are initially planning on uploading gameplay videos every 1-2 weeks and starting early January uploading more than just gameplay videos (podcasts, deck techs, game reviews, etc)
Well you got yourself a subscriber. Hope you start a discord or something. I've been meaning to make my friends hate me in commander and im tired of losing to red/green
This is one of my new FAVORITE channels! Love your content, and you do a very good job with the narration and explanations of plays. I like that you graphically illustrate the stack... Great feature! :)
Love the production on this. Great job, you just got a new follower and fan :D A bit of feed back: You use A LOT of real estate on the name/life/center card. It obscures the view a bit and I think you could easily trim the ‘border’ on the center card and shrink the other boxes a bit. Keep up the good work, I look forward to your next video!
Godo the Bandit Warlord is the deck I want to see for sure or Selvala, Heart of the Wilds. Great video and definitely subscribing and looking forward to more videos in the future.
I don't normally comment on RU-vid but I just have to say that this is incredibly professional for a first foray into RU-vid. Fantastic job on an entertaining video, clear and educated commentary and great graphics. Insta-subscribe over here.
Two hours? Wow... Great job condensing that down. As to not get confused: what is the difference between the kind of decks you plan to show her vs "real" competitive decks?
For these decks specifically, it's really just the lack of a few expensive cards and a few cards in the decks being somewhat sub optimal. In general, we plan to be a little less strict on the commander choices and deck theme compared to pure cEdh. The goal is to still present fast and optimized deck, but also kind of reserve the freedom to play less competitive commanders and deck themes or play a little bit of jank here and there
I love yidris, but he is an established cEDH commander. What i would like to see is a competitive version of my all time favourite: Feldon of the Third Path
Truly amazing content and definitely wish for more. All the animation is amazing so is the editing. The voice commenting through out is slightly monotonous but I guess this is the trend for commander content on RU-vid?
Not very into cEDH but you are very good to make it simple and I find it cool, I find that is the closest gameplay i've seen to game knights games but for cEDH, that is not the most visual way to make it but it's nice and easy to understand, think that i can show your games to my girlfriend to help her to understand
This was really cool. I liked the way you presented the stack. The overlay was was sort of distracting since it felt like it took up a lot of the screen.
