The long-anticipated Grassroots Enduro "Kosciuszko Killer" finally arrived! Round one of the 2022 Australian Hard Enduro series went off with a very sloppy bang.
We're just a couple of OGs (Old Guys) racing in the Silver class and again this year we did ourselves an injustice by not heading out for a second prologue lap. Deterred by the inclement weather, and the fact that the first 3 enduro-x obstacles were as slippery AF, we held off like the old women we (allegedly) are.
Managed to lose 4 minutes in the prologue here stuffing about on the hill climb, going from a respectable 17 min time to 21 mins instead.
With an inch of rain or more forecast for the race on Sunday, I wasn't sure it'd matter braaps of a two stroke.
