I literally saw that Kösem clearly favored Osman over Mehmet a lot of times, and Kösem even put Osman on the throne when she could’ve put Mehmet on it. Osman is a snake
She always loved and supported him the most even though he wasn't her son, he was her favorite child, there were problems between them but she still loved him very much, and avenged his death. She kept remembering him.
The worst ending that ever happened in ottoman empire.. She doesn't desrve what happened to her in end. No one ever felt the numbers of betrayal she faced but still got lot of love to give to world.. She was such a kind queen ❤.

In real history Osman’s mother was alive but lived in the old palace. Kosem may not have showered this kinda love like how they portrayed in the series.
Why she aimed for it anyway. Suleiman's paranoia was what killed him ultimately, BUT hurrem knew this would inevitably happen no matter how "fair" everyone thought Mustafa was or would be. People forget who his mother was 👀
Maturity is realising kosem was never same to her childern after osman's betrayal. She loved them all but after mehmet assassination she gave up TOTALLY. she only faught for power from that day.

That was one fight the real Kosem never won. She actively attempted to prevent and end the practice of princes being assassinated by whichever brother took the throne. That's why they caged the princes later, though that also failed to keep them alive. But she did try. Albeit, she was the one killing them off eventually.
No wonder with constant betrayals, death of loved ones and back stabbing from own.…finally we see the monster in Valide Kosem even ready to kill her grandson for the throne in the ending episode.She was too good as a Sultana and underwent lots of pain.Osman did not deserve a mother like her.Had it been hurrem, safiye or nurbanu… osman would have been under the bottom of bosphorous.Ungrateful sultan.
Kösem raised him, loves him, treated him more than her own sons since 1605, but she just giving the throne to Mustafa just only 96 days. Osman was the symbols of Betrayal. The throne should belongs to Mehmed not him. Kösem regency would started from 1618 not 1623. Osman would died alongside his mother.

@ahmadkhan-xx8nt no mahfiruz didn't witness osman as a sultan, she was thrown to the old palace, she lost her status and never became a valide, osman has no valide during his reigned
