Last summer I also visited the Rugova mountains. It was absolutely amazing! I know that this channel is not about politics but I wanted to give my opinion on the whole Kosovo/Serbia issue considering that many Serbians here claim that Kosovo belongs to Serbia. The region of Kosovo/South-Serbia and West-Macedonia has been identified as the birthplace of the Albanians and the Albanian language by linguists. This is because of toponyms in these regions follow (proto) - Albanian phonetic development which later were adopted in the Slavic languages which indicates that Albanians were living in these regions when Slavs migrated to the Balkans. This means that the Albanians precede the Slavs/Serbs by thousands of years in Kosovo. Your channel is amazing by the way. It is only a matter of time before this channel blows up.

Also wrong. Most of the toponyms are from Serbian language. There are no traces of these words and roots of these words in Albanian language.

It is fascinating considering the fact that Kosova Is one of the poorest countries in europe yet you notice the ordinary everyday people the way they are dressed and the vehicles they pocess. Not alot of difference from the western countries, if not better than some. I think for Kosovars living luxury is at utmost importance. Great video!!
You should not believe every thing you read in Google Denis... Kosova is not a poor country... It has some of the biggest mines in the all of Europe... Is actually the opposite... Good living standards reach in culture and reach in family values...
I am rooting for Kosovo's full independence, they have progressed quite far since the 90s and 00s! Still it will be a challenge because many countries still see it as Serbia -- but despite that, it has a much stronger historical connection to Albania :) I think that once tensions can be calmed through an agreement or treaty, Kosovo can become independent soon 🇽🇰💖
You should elaborate on this historical connection to Albanian besides 1878 a few people sitting in a room in Prizren decided that they call themselves Albanians. Spoiler: there is none. Prizren is the historical capital of Serbia. Endowent of Car Dušan, the monasteries, the Prizren fortress etc. are Serbian and exclusively Serbian.

One interesting detail from beautiful Prizren: The Church of the Holy Savior, It is located on a small plateau below the city fortress that dominates the city, in the part that used to be the Serbian quarter. It was built by the lord Mladen Vladojević , who in 1348 contributed to the endowment of Emperor Dušan (king 1331-1346, emperor 1346-1355) to the Monastery of the Holy Archangels in the canyon of Prizrenska Bistrica . In 1990 , the Republic of Serbia included among the cultural monuments of exceptional importance , together with other Prizren churches . Albanian extremists set fire to it and severely damaged it in the processof the March riots in 2004 .

you were in Prizren and you didn't visit the Serbian Church of Our Lady of Ljeviška, which was built in 1306 and is older than the French North Dame. The Albanians burned the church in 2004 and the NATO army did not react
