Listened to this more than 100 times. This will always be my favorite song no matter what. This song is like matching my heartbeat. And I will never get tired listening of this. I hope this video will not be taken down.
not even Pachelbel himself could have dreamed up this version.. it is so eternally sould stirring ... kotaro is a true original, both in technique and expression
The most ingenious and most tasteful arrangement of this piece ever. Forget all the boring classical guitar attempts. A good arrangement is a piece which can be quite easily played and always sounds marvellous. What a gifted musician Oshio is! Thanks for sharing.
Sungha get inspired by Kotaro Oshio, maybe. But then we all are been inspired by both of them, both of them are great, no matter who is whose master, they still awesome. :) peace.
i agree with u lee, sungha still young and i believe that he will be masterpiece like Kotaro, we just need to enjoy when they playing guitar, they awesome. by Jeys Hung - music lover.
@tman916x got it right on the papoose (they're amazing) but it's not a tenor guitar, those usually have four strings only. the papoose is more like an alto guitar, but not tuned as high...it's really unique.
I doubt what he said was true. I've been following Kotaro ever since I was in Japan following his shows around and was constantly amazed by him. Only to him maybe but that's about all there is to it. Much like sungha learning from him and / or inspired by. Kotaro Oshio constantly mentions Michael Hedges at his shows.
LOLOL now i realised i'm not the only one who had trouble checking my inbox. But i figured out how after a long while. Click your username on the top right > Video Manager > Inbox (top right of grey bar)
Well suyash is just a little minion in this world, his opinion doesn't really matter. Anyway what I'm saying is that nobody stole anything from anyone, I'm sure Sungha did a good job consulting other people when playing his music. That's just the way life works I'm afriad. :/
Everyone is inspired by others, Kotario and Sungha are no different. Are they the best guitarists, I wouldn't say so and they would probably agree. I think they are definetely the most influential though so all this talk about who copied who is kinda fruitless.
