Daylyt one of the few battle rappers that always acknowledges every dope bar his opponent has hell nod even if it’s a reach bc he’s a good sport. I honestly hate the ones who act like every bar was trash and look all mad the whole time it’s corny. Clips is a good sport too
We need a rematch for these 2. Both of them have unmatchable talents. This battle was insane, Charlie got the bars you can catch quick and Daylyt got those deeper intricate bars that might take you longer but both are equally potent.
This is the real comment, they both were on point but they have quite different styles and lyt’s flow is on point with the freestyles so I see why he won it but would have been hard to choose the vote
+INDIGo Yeah, they're often too packed to catch all of it. But it's his job to account for that. Find the bars that are just clever enough for people to think a little, and simple enough that they get the punchline/wordplay in time to react. It was funny though, opening his round with "you gon' die to day", and the crowd didn't catch it.

If u listen to day @ 75% speed and actually study his bars you’ll realize that he’s prob won some battles that we thought he may have lost... because when u slow his bars down enough, you realize he gives you NO rest mentally, meaning every word is connected to something so you have to stay thinking. He’s actually in a category by himself. There are great amazing battle rappers but whether we get the bars or not, daylight is actually a genius
Battle Rap is not nor has it ever been just about who has the best bars, if you have to play it at 75% speed for everything to be caught then that is part of the problem. Lyt is one of the best ever. just saying I disagree with that logic.

+Jason hopkins it's a play on words and a phrase. 2 4's ( a magnum .44 has two mumber 4's in it) leave 6 8( 6 is a military term used for back. in some military or cop movies you'll hear them say."watch your six". 8 is a play on how the number sounds. the number 8 sounds exactly like the word ate.) so day was saying this magnum .44 will leave his back ate up. he did it in a clever way. the phrase itself 2,4,6,8 who do we appreciate is a popular old school cheer. so day was very nice with this one lol.
Bobby Gibble not sure I'd have to view battle rappers and really break it down. Lux is way over rated in my opinion. He has been around and has bars but he is hyped a lot. He is top tier but lux wouldn't be #1 on my list. That's just my opinion though.

1. Daylyt doesn't have the best pen in the game. Eminem, Nas, MF DOOM, Lupe Fiasco, Cambatta, Aesop Rock etc. have better pens than overrated Gaylyt + Not to mention Daylyt has literally bited every wordplay from Lupe Fiasco (Daylyt has the the nost recycled bars in the game, and %80 of his wordplays have ever been done before, he bited bars from Em too) Dude has the worst stretches in the game with the more recycled lines than the Twork and Nity combined.

Alot of the time notice its irrelevant to the battle just stuff he throws in to sound good. He doesnt do true multi's and triples to me. He sounds like he forces them. It sounds good though makes you over think which is why most jump on it and declare him the best. But he needs to polish it up to me.
