my only white neighbor hood. that was fire lol. good battle, baby j def translates better to cam with the laid back style, he was def slept on. random was super nice though i can aleady see the kotd fans going crazy for his style. he stepped his performance way up from the lu cipher battle. good battle and solid matchmaking

What the hell? Random doing it this big? I remember him battling this dude near osu at a house party back in 2012 or 2013. Random KILLED him at dude’s own party lol. He was about to cry. Didn’t know he was this big bow lol. Btw back in 2012, random was free styling and STILL crazy with it lol

Just goes to show presence fucking matters, ask Pat Stay. The bars in this battle were dope, but neither one of them had any stage presence, no conviction in their bars. It's a shame too bc their both nice with a pen.

GZ been dope. Hope they make it to the main stage. Derez, Random, Fraak, Eric Foreman, Type Z, Baby J and they got Everybody knows back. All have crazy pen. Gotta get Lu Cipher and Troy brown there too. shotti P, Fredo and Pnut have been killing it also. My point is you can make a dope card with up and comers and underappreciated battlers.

2-1 Random, Random took first VERY clearly imo as baby's bars hadn't really kicked in yet, and it seemed like he (Baby J) put his best bars in round 2, which I think he took also as a result of Random's weakest punches of the match being there. The third round was clearly Random, his bars were consistent and powerful. Nothing crazy like Caustic style personals or Dizaster-esque relentless bashes, but a good Dumbfoundead quick punch style with Rone's groove and charisma. Extra points for Random's free in round 1.

Random 3-0 for sure. Baby's got the potential to be great though. He kinda reminds me of if Jazzy Jeff went into battling, with that kind of laid back West Coast vibe. If he upped his bars, engaged the audience with funny shit and sprinkle in some hard hitting bars every now and again, he could be awesome. He needs more time in the oven. But for now, he's meh. Good battle though.

Both of these guys have crazy pen games. I give Baby J the win 2-1 though. I like Random. But i prefer Baby J's delivery a little more. Both of these guys could be the next top tier though. Also. Thank you KOTD. Two great rappers. Nice Venue, cool instrumental, and you have the rapper start rapping in the first 10 seconds of the video. This is why KOTD is better than URL.
