Kotka on kaupunki Kymenlaakson maakunnan eteläosassa Suomenlahden rannalla. Kotka on merkittävä satama- ja teollisuuskaupunki ja myös monipuolinen koulu- ja kulttuurikaupunki. Kaupungin asukasluku on 52 930[2] (31. joulukuuta 2018). Kotkan naapurikunnat ovat Hamina, Kouvola ja Pyhtää. Seutukuntajaossa Kotka kuuluu Kotkan-Haminan seutukuntaan.
Kotkan historia liittyy emäpitäjänsä Kymin historiaan. Pyhtääseen kuulunut Kyminkartanon kappeli rakennettiin noin vuonna 1440. Kymin seurakunta itsenäistyi vuonna 1642. Kaupungistumisen myötä Kymistä erotettiin ensin Kotkan kaupunki vuonna 1879 ja Karhulan kauppala 1951. Vuoden 1977 kuntaliitoksessa Kotkan kaupunki laajeni käsittämään lähes kaikki eri aikoina Kymiin kuuluneet alueet

On hyvin kauniita kaupunkeja, kuten näet vihreiden ympärillä. Yksinkertaisesti hyvä. Mitä en ymmärrä. Miksi sekoitat musiikkia yhä aaltojen kohinaa, vaikka ei ole aaltoja, eikä niitä varmasti kuulla tässä korkeudessa. Se tekee kauniin videon jotenkin epärealistiseksi.

Kiitos kommentista. Kotka on satamakaupunki, aallot ovat jokapäiväinen ääni Kotkansaaressa. RU-vid haluaa että videossa on oma sisältöä mahdollisimman paljon tai muutoin tulee huomautus "reused content". Miksaamalla omat aaltoäänityksen tulee musiikista ainutkertainen omaa sisältöä sisältävän äänitteen. Näin yksinkertaisesta syystä.
