I did not find some of these scenes on RU-vid before, but if you’re willing to lose influence with Handmaiden, and you have TSLRCM installed, you may get some of these.
Kind of ironic considering real world circumstances lol. I may never know what it will truly mean but its nice to know atton isn’t as much of a fool as kreia thinks he is.
@@sebastiangibson9671every calls him a fool and it becomes very apparent early on he only lets on like that because he wants to. He’s one of the wisest in the game. The first big instance to me was when I practiced mind reading with Kreia and learned he plays cards in his head so you think he’s thinking of nothing and can’t hear his deeper thoughts.
I know right? Like, even with the bare bones confusing ending and even without the TSLRCM (Which is amazing itself) I love this game way more than KotOR 1. I've replayed it an uncountable amount of times.
@@WegePLUS Still not a fully complete game, even with the extra content the gameplay/dialogue still feels rushed in certain places and very very developed in others. Which is fine tho, since at least the base narrative is more or less complete with RCM
Dude I like the charecters and villains in this one more, sion and nihilism are above Reven and Malik, Atton and HK are funnier in this one than the last, and Trilla is almost 80% the tyrant palpatine was, and this has Visas Marr and G0-T0
Brianna: Truce? Visas: Truce. Exile, running away from Force lightnings: Wait, ladies! Stop it! Brianna and Visas: Come over here, bastard! We haven't finished with you! So dealing with Kreia is left for HK-47.
Its so fucking crazy that they layered on so much content like this, Just saw your Atton video and I played the game for years without knowing about that path even existing. Good shit bro!
@@NarsMcain Heard their releasing the game again on the Switch, with the Mod that brings back the removed content like this as Free DLC after launch! I played the hell out of this game back on the XBOX and could only look at the Removed stuff on youtube when they first started showing up in Vids! I had envy! And I never had a PC or Laptop that could play KOTOR 2 and forgot by the time I DID have a Laptop that could perfectly play it! I do have a Switch Lite though and I was VERY happy to see the game coming out today on it and for 15.99 at that! Going to wait for the Free DLC with the content is made available before replaying (and suspecting the game may crash, so fingers cross it's stable and that doesn't happen! I always save every 15 minutes in any game since the PS1 RPG era out of paranoia because in the past, electricity going out would happen! Not often, but when it happened! It devastated me because I would go long periods without saving! So I do it now out of habit! ESPECIALLY when many games now a days have a thing with crashing! Well, at least the game is cheap and I have ALOT of Gold Coins saved up to drop it under 10 dollars!) Doubt I'll see this one unless I watch it (Not in the habit of doing things like "cause a love triangle" or purposely lose influence with party members like this! So happy to at least "see it" somewhere else)
@flaminporky Too little too late my man. Like MONTHS too late! (It was around April I realized the dlc wasn't coming, good thing I barely paid much, got it on sale, had Gold Coins that were draining so only paid 2 bucks) I was surprised this comment of mine got a reply, to be honest I forgot 😅
Yeah you have to be careful with Visas and the Handmaiden - I found this out the hard way and had to replay about an hour and a half worth of gameplay just so I didn't get completely locked out of the Handmaiden's dialogue trees. If you can make her a jedi after being locked out is beyond me, I would assume not. But basically make sure you've gotten a couple to a few influence points with Handmaiden before you chat up Visas. Because if you know what you're doing, you can complete pretty much Visas' entire dialogue tree in one sitting, gaining the needed influence to lock out the Handmaiden JUST from that interaction. Influence with care, my friends. And saves. Lots of saves.
@@rochahouse4883 I mean, you can. Lol. It just doesn’t feel as earned to me, the relationships between the party members are pretty well crafted for the most part. But I often cheat in the really rare robes, so who am I to judge??
I like how everyone is obsessed with the Exile whether it be romantically or as a friend that they need to protect no matter what I know the lore reason behind it but it’s still funny nonetheless
I recently re-played kotor 2 with the RCM mod. And at the end there, I end up with a harem of: Visas (who says she loves you), Handmaiden, Atris and Kreia at the very end lol This is with max influence on Handmaiden, Visas and Kreia
Playing as the exile is the best ego boost if you have self esteem issues. Its like the late game Revan high on dark side emperor and evil Bastilla vibes cranked up to 11 all the time.
More like: Exile: YOU HAVE TURNED HER AGAINST ME Kreia: No, your rizz did that. It also turned Atris and me and like every other woman in this galaxy you didn’t turn into your number 1 against you!
Only in this particular path. How Jedi or Sith any one of those companions are depends solely on the Exile's treatment of them. Of course Handmaiden starts off very judgemental but that's due to her teachings at the hands of her mistress who has fallen long ago yet she nor any of her sisters could sense or realize
@@WillieManga No, D'vorah is Visas. Briana is Grey Griffon. Who also voiced Catwoman, Azula from Avatar, Nova from Starcraft, Jeanette/Therese from Vampire the Masquerade, and tons of other familiar roles.
@@garycannon4644 first of all - through sith holocrons Atris learned about new threat of the sith. Although she couldn't fight them directly (as during her meditations she turned away from the Light Side of Force). So to confirm her suspicions and to battle enemy, she leaked data about Jedi meeting on miraluka homeworld, Katarr. As result Dart Nihilus ate the Force of almost all living creatures upon surface. Only one last miraluka survived - Visas Marr - and she became wound in the Force, like an Exile. Nihilus took her as apprentice. Atris was shocked to learn the outcomeof her actions, she couldn't stop. There was one jedi she could use to lure sith once more. Yes, the Exile. Although Exile was banned from order for 10 years. Atris spread rumors through her Handmaidens, that last Jedi is somewhere on Periphery. And specifically stated name of the Exile as last Jedi - that is how whole galaxy learnt that fact. The plan was simple - lure sith to battle Exile, weakening them all, and then appear with lightsaber blazing, decapiticating all the evil sith. After that Atris wanted to recreate Order, but in her twisted style. Exile... was not supposed to survive. If he/she did survive... he/she could've learned, that Atris is no longer jedi herself, but only fallen jedi with severe illusions.
I have played this game so many times. With and without TSLRCM in and I have never seen this confrontation between the Handmaiden and Visas. Going to have to play this again now
Damn... each dialog of this game makes me wanna restart it. Even the Witcher games aren't as deep as those dialog. It makes me forget the amount of bugs in this game.
That part is funny. The dialogue between HK-47 & 50's &51's is funny. There are three endings to the HK factory on Telos: where u side with HK-51's or shut factory down completely, or side with HK-50.
TSLRCM isn't really a mod. Most of the files they use are already in the game, it just restores stuff and it's really amazing, honestly. It doesn't fix everything but it's worth your time. (Even the ending is a bit improved but still a bit weird. Only way to fix it now would be a sequel, but that's just as likely as the devs coming back to finish all that was cut from KotOR II)
We have to assume they both die in the battle, ugh TSLRCM did good work but some things still can't be completed. I wish we had to do the gameplay battle with visas and have her die if she loses, but have to decide whether to spare or kill handmaiden if she wins
How does Handmaiden have a lightsaber at the end? If she gets jealous, she stops talking to you and you can't make her into a Jedi, if she's a Jedi, she doesn't get jealous.
Okay so I’m like 95% the Jedi order forbids any romantic feelings purely because of the Exile at this point. He makes Atris and Handmaiden fall to the darkside just by existing.
Actually, I think KOTOR2 has dialogue explaining that aspect of the Jedi. Basically, a pair of force sensitive brothers fought over a woman. Their feuding ended up being very destructive, to say the least. The aftermath of these events is what made the Jedi Order decide against romantic relationships.
From what I can tell, Briana (Handmaiden) has fallen at that point, and also has negative influence with the exile. To have fallen to the darkside as she did means that the exile is lightside (You can see her face is gaunt and her lips are dark. Those are her signs of the darkside)
You may have already figure it out by yourself, but TSLRCM (The Sith Lords Restored Content Modification) is indeed the name given to an unoficial, yet very famous patch that use and fix ingame files that have been cut by the original dev team because they were short on time to finish the game. It's not perfect however.
OMG! I find it funny that Brianna has gone insane because Kreia manages to fake Surik’s death as a ruse to have Nihilus mistake Sion for a pizza box, and that she has gone into some blood rage to kill Visas Marr just because she has been enslaved by Nihilus after he mistook Katarr for a hamburger. Then old people who pull out whatever double bladed lightsaber they own, use it to hunt down Brianna, convincing her that Surik has been seduced. Ha!
I always wondered that if you can get every single ending in one playthrough. I know that you can turn all of them into force wielders since they are all sensitive but I wonder if its possible to achieve them all in one playthrough.
I think that would be antithetical to one of the game's core narratives of your choices having irreversible consequences hehe. Would definitely be interesting to see someone who has 'hacked' it to a good degree to get each character's dialogue tree as far as possible.
im pretty sure its possible, its been a long time since i played but i remember one of my playthroughs goal was to get everyone who was able to a force use.
Atton: Man fuck you The Desiple: no! pls! Brianna: die witch!! Visas: Bruh Kreia: Time 2 Severe Me: No Kreia: Why? Me: Influence is a deadly laser Everyone: oh, ok
Does hateful Handmaiden still fight against Atris and get rescued by Exile at Telos? Also, even though Handmaiden is fighting Visas out of jealousy, which is dark side, is Handmaiden considered to have fallen to the dark side if she fights Visas for the reason of having corrupted Exile to the dark side? Or is that just her self-rationalizing
She's fallen and she's totally rationalizing her motives as pure when they're very dark, the exact same way Atris rationalizes herself as the last true Jedi even though she's become a Sith in all but name. Which is a pretty fantastic mirror and it's a true shame all of this excellent writing was cut. "Visas is a Sith and therefore cannot be trusted near the Exile" is pretty much the same as Atton going "the Disciple is a Republic spy" - they both feel threatened by a newcomer who shows clear romantic interest in the person they want to get closer to, and everything else about why that person shouldn't be on the ship is just justification. That said, in the case where the Exile is dark side and Visas is too, Handmaiden will be lightsided here and presumably correct about the corruption (although still lying to herself about the source - it would be the Exile that corrupted Visas, not the other way around.) It works way better in her case than the genderflipped version (light side Atton talking about how much fun it'll be to murder dark side Disciple comes off /really/ weird.)
