Yeah, in China you have to wait for a couple of months after preorder, really hard to get a hold of one, meaning it’s something worth buying. I’m genuinely excited to see new models
I think you would love my new short😏 it sounds great! I’ve posted two videos back to back (Kawasaki ZX4rr and Kove 450rr) it would be great to know which bike sounds better in your opinion 🤝
Thanks for the review, few have made the Kove 450RR review outside China 👍 I see below you are in the Qingdao area, I have visited there before, it is a beautiful city with a gorgeous marina. We brought you the famous Tsingtao beer from Germany 🍻
I’m a foreigner who lives here) it’s a beautiful place indeed, the only downside for bikers is winter 🥶 I truly feel awesome knowing that these videos are somehow useful! Likewise I thank you for watching! The weather is finally getting better, so soon I’ll bring you some more reviews 🤝 Again thanks for your support 🤜🤛
Sweet machine! Amazing sound but yeah a little rough around the edges. I think it could be a fun bike to mess around on if you have access to a track our very open roads. Dude! Close call on that e-bike coming from the right!
Because it's very cheap! Only half the price of the Kawasaki ZX-4rr! But the horsepower is equivalent! So most of the cost is spent on the engine body, and there are no such high cost and exquisite parts used on the frame and other components!
@@李問天-l7e it’s a nice bike, I’ve enjoyed it, it has some relatively cheap looking parts, but overall I like Kove 450rr, but the brakes didn’t live up to my expectations, I’ve heard you can equip it with Brembo for additional price, and I would definitely overpay a bit to have additional confidence riding. Other than that it’s an awesome value for the money, and a cool track bike
@@SigmaMotorsiklo yeah for sure, this is the only 450 four cylinder sport bike that comes cheap, again if you can get brembo brakes it will be a great option. Kawasaki zx4 is is 88000rnb it’s twice the money, do you know the price of zx4 in Philippines?
Unfortunately I’ve never ridden Daytona 675r, but Kove 450rr is indeed small and nimble, if I would have a chance to compare it with Daytona I’ll do it
I think it will, they are openly saying that Kove is looking for distributors worldwide, it’s a matter of time, and price, if they manage to keep the price low, I think people will buy them over more expensive bikes in the US, it will be a great bike for a track
seat height is perfect for 5'7 like me im flat footed on that bike + the weight is insanely light (much lighter with full exhaust) good for beginner also
It feels faster, gives you abs options which I love, but brakes feel a bit worse. It sounds incredible! Better then 270 crank on CFmoto, 0-100 acceleration is very close, reliability is on CFmoto side I think
It’s actually even lighter than this! The wet weight is 161kg I have one more review on my channel about it) btw Kove made them cheaper now! The price in China is sub 30000 rnb (4120$) now for a new model
I did ride it hard! But this was an unfortunate destiny/purpose of this “test ride” motorcycle! I don’t think I’m the only person who did that to this beautiful bike. Now as I write about it I do feel bad and disgusted with the way I treated it😳 But we had some really good 15 minutes together nonetheless 😏
I don’t think it’s better, but it’s faster, and sounds better, but reliability wise I think CFmoto is a better choice, and it’s cheaper, but I think we need to wait for SR500 from CFmoto to compare
Thanks, I think they will sell for sure, but it might take some time, I’ve been told if I order the bike now, I need to wait for two months here in China, maybe after they indulge Chinese market they start exporting 450rr around Asia and eventually the rest of the world
Well the suspension is fully adjustable, I felt as if it was quite rigid, and I had a lot of control over this bike, in Corners it didn’t feel as good as ZX4rr though, but I’m not sure whether it’s suspicious merit
It has a up QS but it doesn’t have an auto blipper (QS down) I would recommend you to check out my second review on Kove, where I compare it to ZX4rr I think it might be useful for you! Thanks for watching 🤜🤛
Hi, I don’t know, I’ll try to check for you, but can’t guarantee I succeed, one more thing to mention is that you can preorder Kove 450rr, and you have to wait for 2-3 months, or at least that’s what the guy from dealership told me, so by now it’s a problem to get the bike even here
Might be, but I rode many new bikes, and this feels a bit different. I will make another review soon, where I’ll measure acceleration and compare it to ZX 4. Will see how brakes feel
It’s around 220 km/h. I think if you’re a good rider, acceleration of this Kove might be better, but in my case zx4rr was faster. BTW I have a video about these two, I measured acceleration and stuff, hope you like it 🤜🤛
how d u feel about the front bbrake man, some new rider brake too hard and maybe with wrong riding structure flip themselves over and one of which hit his eyeball out. become a topic in chinese moto community.
Yeah, I can see where it comes from, the brakes ain’t so good, they don’t stop it as well as I thought, and if you grab the front brake lever hard, on slower speed the ABS isn’t going to work well you can do a nice front flip, it was in my mind all the time, definitely the worse part of the bike
@@eddywave3315 im a lanky 5'11 and i like the size of the rc390.. i think i'll love the size of this one. Hope it gets sold here in the philippines so i dont have to break the bank for a zx25r
@@minovskyparticles1834 I think size would fit you perfectly, the only thing is that, if you want to have fun on it, you have to keep revs up high, it’s a good bike, but not the most optimal choice for a bustling city, if you have an access to a race track, it would be a great machine for it
@@minovskyparticles1834 you can try it out, it’s pretty smooth with acceleration, however still fast, it’s easy to handle, I would have gone with cfmoto sr/nk 450 or srs though , they are easier to ride in a city, the power delivery is perfect, engages straight from the bottom, make your own research test them out and buy what you prefer, hit me up once you have your bike 🤝
Unfortunately there is no naked version of this bike, I hope to see more nakeds from Kove in future. To my knowledge there is only one naked so far from Kove and it’s Kove 321r, AKA Cobra
These are different bikes, 70kg weight difference! You can check my other review on Kove 450rr I measured acceleration there and compared it to Kawasaki Zx4rr. I want to make another review of 600rr though, coz I didn’t measure acceleration
I think/hope it should, but can’t be certain, need to find official sources to confirm, btw I’ll make another comparison video between 450rr and Kawa zx4rr, if there is any info about it in Europe I’ll let you know 🤜🤛
@@doyong9197 yeah I agree, the guy who from the dealership told me it has a quick downshifter, I didn’t try it though, I had only 10-15 minutes with it, probably need to ride it again soon, to check it out more thoroughly
@@eddywave3315 My favorite route is "崂山路" to "崂山景区旅游专用路", the end is "垭口". This route has decent tarmac and twisted mountain road. I only do it at night, there has cops at daytime. But it's so worth it.
Nice review and sexy bike❤, but it is not supposed to be tested on the narrow street. It will be harmful to you and others, especially the brake performance is not quite good🫣.
Yeah, I agree, but I wasn’t the one who chose the place) and from another perspective it might be more useful for some guys, coz this is where you ride 90% of time, given that this is mostly a buy for people who live in China, but I agree that I should have been more rational 🤝
Please take extremely care here on the road in China lad Dizi, people are not abiding by the traffic rules like they are in the US or even in Thailand. The version you rode is 35,000 RMB, and the ultra version is about 40,000 RMB. ❤
Yes I agree, riding here is dangerous and you have to relearn specifically for these conditions, I rode a road bicycle here for two years and it’s even scarier, many times was I in a very stressful situations, I take this risk though, otherwise life seems boring) I try to be vigilant. Appreciate your advice, thank you🤝 BTW in Qingdao you have to wait for 2 months for Kove 450rr after preorder, there is a high demand for those)
@@eddywave3315good for you dude, Qingdao is a famous coastal place in China, not a hustle and bustle metropolitan like Shanghai but some of the living costs there are also exorbitant. The Kove 450rr is a blockbuster they’ve been baked long, it exhilarated many bike fanatics and made them proud of this game changer, the gimmick of it is the first domestic 4-cylinder bike that can reach 16000 rpm. Two months is just so so if compares with some shopping-rush bike like the Forza 350 which can make you wait for 8 months in 2021. Keep the great work, glad to see more videos 😊
@@evasionaficionado8729 the benchmark for me is the fact that almost no one is selling those, btw I wanna ride zx4, and see which one I like more, and I’m looking forward to ride Kove 450rr again to mesure 0-60 acceleration, so far the fastest bike on my channel is the new QJMOTOR 800rr 3.7 with my set of skills) wonder if I could crack 4 sec time with Kove)
@@eddywave3315 You didn't follow traffic rules neither when you are calling it dangerous, did you? At least I don't remember street speed being 90 or more. It is pretty irresponsible to ride so aggresively on busy streets even on a new bike for the first time. You don't mind taking the risk of your safety, but how about others? I am totally with the government for banning motorcycles if people ride like this. Find a quiet street at least. BTW, ABS works better if sswitched to performance mode or totally off. They have made some updates to ABS too. Confirmed by many reviews already.
@@rocketscienc yes, all the other people around ride safely here, it’s just me who does that) forgot that we live in a perfect world, btw when I rode bicycle here it was way more dangerous ( for me for sure) I don’t ride like that most of the time, but anyway took your criticism to thorough consideration!✊ Thanks
Maybe I was bias, but to me the body of the motorcycle looks very small, like Yamaha r3, idk why, but I like it, next time I’ll try to put it next to something to compare
I checked, in China Kove 450 rr is 38-44k rnb after taxes, 5200$-6000$ Kawasaki zx 4 is 90krnb +-which is 12000$+ so in China the choice is obvious, still I think no one is going to argue that Kawasaki is a better motorcycle, so it’s a matter of pricing abroad
It s supposed to cost around 5000$ if so this is really attractive If it cost more than 6500$ i would consider the kawasaki better option even if the price is harsh
@@kawabungatortueninja yes indeed, hard to disagree, I want to check on zx4 some time later, just to compare but taking the difference in price in China Kove 450rr is a very good deal)
I guess only time can tell, in few days I’ll release a review on my 2018 CFMOTO NK250, that bike is five years old, so it can be a nice reference for an older Chinese bike in terms of reliability. Taking that Kove is a new brand (established in 2017) it’s to early to say how reliable the engine is going to be, by now the only complain I have about Kove is brakes)
Many Chinese people have very limited experience with cars even today especially in less developed area, not to mention fast cars or fast bikes. Large portion of cars in China are fairly slow, like 1.6L NA AT cars that makes 0-100 more than 10s. Aggressive riding like this on street will make it very difficult for others to judge your speed and distance, which could result in "wrong" reactions, making the chaotic situation even worse, not just for you but everyone invovled. Please ride sensibly. If you want ride fast, go to the tracks, or at least find a quiet place, not just for your own safety. To be honest, I don't care about safety of irresponsive rides like you at all, I care about others involved.
Agree, send me a location of the race track in Qingdao please, it would be nice to try out. Nice to see people who care about others, wish more people could be like you 👍
It looks as big as Yamaha r3, I think it’s a great size for a track, it isn’t made for the streets, the only problem is, that almost everyone who buys these just cruising around the city)
I thought the same way before I rode, after, I changed my mind, but the reliability might actually be an issue (you can check the new review of it on my channel)🤜🤛
