@@ragames7320 that's not how it works Sparg0's inconsistent so it's easier to get a win on him and fighting a gimmicky a mid tier and a broken top tier are completely different

I would argue it's more of sparg0's skill being painful for asimo, but yeah any character with disjoints is just painful for ryu (only -1 tho)

⁠​⁠​⁠@@SomeGuy-qd3liCloud honestly feels way more difficult to deal with as ryu than any other character with disjoints (besides gnw maybe but at least he doesn’t have cloud’s range).

@@eaa1338 I think it's because of how good cloud's bair is. He can essentially create a wall at a corner with it and ryu has a really hard time getting that one hit to get in. If the cloud player doesn't know how to use bair to its full extent, cloud is kinda just as bad as any other swordie for ryu (this is also sparg0 we're looking at lol)

@@SomeGuy-qd3li That b-air is a huge reason why it’s worse, but there are other things that makes this mu more difficult than other mus. Cloud has a disjointed dair that lingers, has a huge hitbox and it can autocancel. This move makes him really difficult to keep him in the air. ryu can’t exploit cloud’s recovery so cloud almost always gets to recover to ledge in this mu. Limit gives cloud more speed and it also gives him more kill moves. Ryu also can’t afford to make mistakes, because cloud does like 20% per hit and can keep him in the corner forever. It honestly feels like a -2 mu with how much cloud has in this mu. The only reason why it isn’t is, because ryu has a good projectile and he can do a lot of dmg if he gets the hit.
