A lot of those steps are still a part of Jamaican traditional dances. Often seen in johnkunu and Pocominia. Similar in Haiti as well. We still have Africa in us after 400 years

Wow. Seeing the GA people performance is such a blessing from Allah SWT. I learned this Dance back in1986 in Atlanta Georgia. Ti this day, I still Dance the steps that I was taught by Farouk Brimmah and Ta Ta from Togo West Africa I called West Nubia land of the Black's. Awesome Awesome
