Our second eagerly anticipated trip to Bike Park Wales (Which almost never happened but Lady Luck shone down on us at the last minute and we got there!).
It was September 7th & 8th, a very wet forecast, although the rain did hold off until mid afternoon on the Sunday for us, but it was still wet on the ground and very humid.
We were frothing at the mouth to see the new A470 and The Funnel, plus we wanted to try a couple more red grades and maybe even a black. We are not pro riders by any shot of the imagination, fairly average to be frank, so we wanted to try and get some progression under the belt and hopefully learn something new. BPW is the best place to do stuff like this as there’s something for everyone and you can try and either fail or succeed.
