Join Kevin as he sits down with legendary musician David Foster. David chats about his career as a record producer, composer, and songwriter to icons such as Whitney Houston, Rod Stewart, and Barbra Streisand.
Best piano arranger/ writer / player / producer that ever lived. 1 in a lifetime type pf person. None like you Mensa of Music...& finding & making Talent.
After watching multiple episodes of this great show, I realize that the most important thing about being in the movie business is that you have to remember the name of everyone you've ever met or worked with, watch every movie ever made, and remember who did what job on those movies..
I just found your channel, I absolutely love it. I was looking for anything with kumail nanjiani in it, and saw the interview with him. You have a great show sir. Thank you. PS I have been a fan of yours since Willow Mr. Pollack.
OK lets clear up this business of Thanks Giving. Thanks Giving is a celebration of harvest. You're thankful that the crops have all come in and you're going to have food over the winter period. We celebrate it earlier in Canada because we harvest earlier in Canada. You have a longer growing season in the US so harvest time is later.
Who is the female artist that Foster referred to, the one he did two albums with where the first one was done his way and was a big success, and the second one stiffed because she decided to get more involved in the production?
Love the show, but wasn't anyone driven crazy with the bad sound engineering thru most of the interview??? You couldn't get the guest's volume up until 2/3 of the talk? And it still was not modulated to match Kevin's level. Over an hour of muddled talk by a soft-spoken Foster- so frustrating and annoying. It took a long time (months) to get the bad echo out of the host's sound, now good. Gee, Foster pointed out the intern as not doing much - he couldn't monitor the sound?
WHY is this Host even has Foster on his show since he keeps the CAMERA on HIMSELF, he continuously interrupts the GUEST-FOSTER, and bottom line, he has Foster on the show just to USE HIM as a prop for his (gut wearing hat) exposure. Foster should've walked out of this TRAP.
Absolutely amazing guest. Wow wow wow. But 2 thoughts-The host's dumb questions and stories about himself always slow things down. (That 'game' thing at the end of each interview is just epically stupid). And it's a deal breaker when that dopey wife shows up. The show's IQ just plummets. Her voice is somewhere between Marge Simpson and when Gilda Radner would play feeble-minded. For real. Oh yeah it's that bad, that dumb. And i've rarely -if ever- heard someone in a public forum- broadcast how dumb, I mean ill-informed they are. Embarrassing for all concerned. Some great stuff in there.
Omg...no, he's not a Luther Vandross! He's in a totally different genre of music! And he OWNS it at this time! “Bland” (?), evidently you don't know or understand Big Band/Swing music?! I'm just going to leave my comment as is, rather than doing a diatribe on Michael Buble’s style/genre of music!
