I sat hunched on a bus bench looking at my phone. I scrolled past a picture of the Eiffel Tower. I haven’t been to Paris in 9 years, ever since I was a trainee at JYPE. Our Main rapper (Lea), Main vocalist(Si-young) and Leader(Abby) all treated me like their little sister because I was youngest, and that didn’t change despite my skill I reviewed the lyrics for our debut song Love Shot. It fit the Dark concept well, now that I think about it. I hummed the lyrics and accidentally sang a few. A little girl jumped up “Umma! That pretty lady is so good at signing!”. Hyunjin looked up at me confused when a fan saw his face. She squealed and ran over along with many others. I grabbed Hyunjin’s hand and we rushed off the bus into the building where we part ways to go to our dorms. The next morning the shooting for our first MV began. I got ready in a trailer and put on this pretty Badass outfit (outfit #4). When we were shooting an outdoor clip I saw one of my biggest role models ever, Jihyo, being swarmed by cameras. After filming wrapped up we went home and immediately went to bed, since shooting had gone all day. The next morning I saw our MV uploaded on all platforms possible. 3 views. I was a bit sad but it wasn’t like so,Ebony gets famous overnight, or even just a few weeks. Over the next week I saw our song popping up on different apps every once and a while, until Friday came around. My group decided to walk over to a convenience store to get some coffee. As we stepped out of the building a few girls ran over to us, asking for a picture. Then a few more, and before we knew it paparazzi was flashing cameras left and right, shouting out questions. “Abby! Are you proud of being a mere visual?”, “Lea, who was your biggest role model growing up!”, “Si-young! What’s it like being Korea’s beauty standard?”. We rushed along the street until I heard someone shout my name, “Yunji! How does it feel reach 300 million views and counting in under a week!?”. My eyes widened as bodyguards blocked people from touching us. Over the next week we were constantly swarmed by people. Just before we started working on our first album, my company had me host alongside TNX’s Hyunsoo. In the midst of working on our new album, I performed live with Sumin, and we had become pretty good friends. After the release of our album we performed live. Our first concert went surprisingly well, the tickets had sold out even. At the concert, however. Some of the members from BTS showed up, which is amazing, except for the fact that everyone started to ship me with Jimin. And not long after, everyone called us the “Next Blackpink”. Adding fuel to the fire, I starred in a K-drama with Jennie, who had become one of my closest friends after a few periods of shooting. Along with meeting my biggest role model I had acted with her and now had her number saved in my phone. After the first season released just a month later, me and Jennie became a duo, going everywhere with each other, which raised both our popularity. Because of my connections, my company began giving me more lines and even suggested I make some music as a soloist. But despite my busy schedule my best friend Hyunjin invited me to one of their concerts, I had Jennie and my other friends come with me. The concert was amazing, but my eyes always were on Han-no, I can’t have a crush on HIM. Of course he’d never like me back, but someone did like me. In an interview, Yoshi revealed I was his ideal type. I received so much backlash from it for no reason. After the SKZ concert I went backstage and talked to Hyunjin and I was seeing if he was busy that night, of course, he was. Busy sleeping. I walked up the stairs to leave when Felix yelled “Yunji! Do you wanna go grab a bite? I’m starving and your clearly not busy”. I agreed and we got soft serve and went for a walk. The next morning dating rumors between me and Felix blasted the internet, could I really not hang out with some guy in peace? After my company denied the accusations, I showed up at the studio to record a solo song when I saw THE RM, sitting, waiting to start recording. My manager explained we were gonna do a collab on a song. He handed me some paper and I walked into the recording room, this was more lines I had ever gotten COMBINED. We finished recording, I was heading out the door when my manager stopped me, “Oh no no, you’re not going anywhere. You have an award show to go to”. At the award show they handed out awards until they got to the artist of the year. I heard the host belt out my groups name. I glanced to Jennie to see her ecstatic “Go, go”. We headed up stage to receive our award. A few more were handed out and we went home. I hung out with Jennie and Lisa along with Lea and Si-young, watching TV. I looked at my phone, since it was buzzing with notifications. We had 70 million followers on Instagram. My jaw dropped “Lisa loo-“. The news lady spoke “(group name) reaches 1 billion views on their hit single Love shot MV in just seven months! Setting a record!”. We all jumped up, I gave Jennie a hug as I squealed. To celebrate I met up with Hyunjin at a park, it was really late so we went and grabbed some mochi and drinks from the store. We sat back on a park bench laughing while stuffing our faces with Mochi. I snorted while I laughed before Hyunjin got pretty serious. “Yunji, will you be my girlfriend?”. I widened my eyes, he got all nervous before I yelled “Yes!”. I still had a dating ban so we kept it secret for a while. Nobody suspected much, since we hung out all the time as close friends. A month later, my manager pulled me into a room, oh gosh. “Yunji, I have wonderful knews for you. Chanel has requested to partner with you! We’ve accepted and you will being doing a photo shoot for a magazine on Monday as their newest ambassador!”. A week later my group released another album as well as I released a solo album (idk where to end it so byeee)
