Of course these aren't all of them (I guess) & everyone may have different opinions, but these are the ones I felt like including, this isn't something serious either. Hope y'all enjoy :)

I think not generation transition but technology transition 2007-2009 and than 2009-2013 and now 2013-2020 The camera, editing, angle, CGI, set etc become better and better

@@pinkgangsta6157 i think they meant the conceptual styles like what aesthetics and visual elements different generations portrayed which is a reflection of what was/is popular at the time. of course the technology has improved but the point they were trying to make was about the creative direction each generation was going for in terms of visuals and color palettes which could be achieved regardless of the technological aspect

I like how the obligatory sexualization fades away with the years. There was a time when girls and women can only play three roles in kpop: sexy dumb diva, objectified sweetheart or needy stripper in love. There's no longer one million close ups of their skirts/asses/legs, the camara focus on their faces, choreographies and overall beauty and concepts, that's awesome, I'm so glad. And I hope kpop keeps on the right path, mostly for the underground girl groups who are the most vulnerable.

I agree but I don't think faded away is the right way to put it considering how much it evolved from a mature-sexy-focused concept to almost the same thing and we just don't call it that. It went from needy stripper-in-love to submissive-sweetheart which I don't think is much better considering the whole point is of women being obsessed with men.

I personally loved the dark themes and sexy vibes. That’s just my opinion, loved it when the girls wear all black and mix with red, and some with lace or just dark concept all together. Some examples missA Touch, EXID Every Night, 4Minute Volume Up

@@rarityty7002 I mean, they were pretty iconic and very popular in their time, especially in Korea, but kpop fans nowadays prolly don't know about them :/ Their popularity started to fall off when they started having less frequent comebacks + Choa leaving and then Mina (their most popular members next to Seolhyun). They gained a lot of fans back after Queendom but then the bullying thing was revealed.

Gfriend was truly a cultural reset in so many ways!🙌 It made way for the cute school girl that impacted 3rd generation kpop, then came with Fingertip that was super underrated because it was ahead of it’s time, then started complicated storylines with TFTMN (that everyone went crazy about) and it also inspired for hard dances to be standard like how SHINee did it for the boygroups. They also created the 2x dance challenge and much more! Even tho they may have disbanded, they’ll always be queens and have left a good mark on kpop today🙌❤️

Ladies Code, Dalshabet, Spica, Brave Girls, 9Muses, Laboum, Dia, Sonamoo, April, you put all of them and I am so freaking happy. Each of these songs reallu put some spotlights on the girls. Sonamoo with "I" was a cultural reset. 9Muses were legendary, Spica were the best vocalist, Dalshabet the most versatile, Brave Girls the best performers and broke genre in High Heels. I would have picked maybe High Heels or Rollin for Brave girls and Someone Like you for Dalshabet, but anyway, these songs were pretty accurate still. Thank you so much to show some spotlights of these groups, it really touched my entire Kpop fan soul.

5:20 is when I pretty much left the kpop scene I guess since it was the first time in the video I didn’t know multiple songs back to back. I had a brief moment one summer with Taeyeon, Up&Down, Red Velvet. I guess I never came fully back but 11:10 is when I dedicated myself to faves: BlackPink, Mamamoo, and Hyolyn. That’s literally it. 😅

omg I remember when Wonder Girls and SNSD were literally everywhere! Even little me who really wasn't all that keen into K-pop at the time couldn't stop playing "Nobody" and "Genie" back then. Then T-Ara swooped in with "Roly Poly" and I found the Copacabana mix and that was when I found new appreciation for Korean music. Though it took me a while to really start stanning... until GOT7 released "Lullaby" and I discovered that MAMAMOO's "HIP" was used by the animation meme community. It was over for me. As some wise men had said: once I Wheein, I can't Whee-out.

tbh the music they made at first was very cool cuz everyone was doing pop and then they came in like BAAM! but then their music turned towards pop as well which was kinda disappointing but i havent heard their b-sides so maybe they have songs that have the same feel as their debit songs there! i still love their songs now tho, HIP? has been stuck in my head since it came out and i will ALWAYS watch the entire performance or video that has them performing it. actually they dont really have a bad song (im not used to dingga yet lol and havent really heard much of aya or wind flower but the rest are bangers)
