For me as a fans of kpop for about 12 years, still can't get over that "idol are mine" behavior. As a fans i just really really like their music and really proud of their hard work, really proud of their passion in dance and music, being amazed with their wonderful visual and talent, being a supportive fans, that is what my 'love' is for them. I'm not interest in them like i'm interest with a guy.. because i'm not seeing them as a guy, i just see them as an artist, i see them more like a hardworking human who fulfill their dream to be an idol and being inspired by their hardwork and passion, thats my fangirling mean to me

Okay, so some of these relationships had issues. But what I am most disappointed about is the fact that fans expect apologies from these celebrities living their own personal lives. I didn't know idols have to swear to celibacy when they debut. This is just one of the reasons I do not invest myself into anything non-music related in kpop, I just get too angry at the way they are treated. Hopefully marriage gets normalized soon enough, so many 2nd and 3rd gen idols are in relationships an/or married already, they are not girls and boys for you to drool over and claim as your possession!

Fans also disappointed bcs sungmin marriage feel like a rush(there was a rumor his wife pregnant), kyuhyun also still on promotion. So i get it why fans was mad about him. Even some fans remove 13 december from calender for an ages. I think this is definitely a western vs SK viewpoint issue. I am an American so our celebrities dating/marrying/ divorcing and everything in between is normal to us. But for whatever reason not as publicly normalized in SK. I also think the other huge part of the issue is Kpop was built and run to promote parasocial relationships. The companies are trying to get fans infested heavily in caring and loving their idol so when this stuff happens people flip out. So this will just continue until the whole dynamic in kpop changes

If you marry someone who's 10 years older than you or more, something is wrong with you, tbh. And that wouldn't look good on certain levels. Change my leg. To name two examples are that how the family will probably look down at it and how that will most likely ruin the baby's looks. This is why I would much rather marry a woman who is 5 years older at most. If you wanna go for 6 years older, that's fine.
