It's because Blackpink is their seniors, they're from the same company YG. This song is a tribute song to their senior artists in YG including Blackpink. You'll have noticed Asa's (2nd rappers) black/pink outfit. Chiquita doing the hand gesture of a crown like Lisa did in her mv (Lalisa ).The ending is their outro introducing themselves to the world. Blackpink hit a homerun after their debut and became the biggest/most successful Kpop gg in the world. BABYMONSTER is just saying their up to bat , their turn ... BATTER UP !

I’m glad you liked Queencard! The lyrics are definitely not serious and one of the members Soyeon (who wrote and produced this song and 90%+ of their discography) said that she wanted the lyrics and vibe to feel like a teen movie with fun/funny lyrics sprinkled in 👍🩷

I enjoyed your reactions, except you seemed to not like Batter Up which I thought was the best. But i suppose you said you like the old synth sound, so i understand you might not like the trap hip hop beats of YG. Babymonster are the first yg gg for 7 years and seem to be here to dominate the industry as 2ne1 and blackpink did before them.
