I bought the DVD in the clearance section in a local video store. I paid like $4.00. Well worth it, he is an amazing artist. Must have been a cool experience meeting him.
Andy gave me a copy of "Rivers and Tides"...I let my friends Mom borrow it, she had it forever. When I asked for it back, she swore left & right that she had already given it back to me, I had to call that a loss! He gave my boss one of his books, autographed! I also got a chisel from his assistant...
I'm in this from 1:41-1:53 , behind Andy Goldworthy, I'm wearing a grey Kangol and blue shirt! Andy, was really cool...he would listen to us joke all day and would just smile and shake his head. One day it rained, Andy laid on the paving to leave a dry spot in the shape himself. Me and a co-worker said, we should do one in the shape of us "spooning" and his assistant Jacob had to muffle his laugh and walk away quickly as Andy lay there with his eyes closed basking in his moment!
