I considered myself a quite talented Rallye driver and excelent drifter when i signed up to Iracing - needless to say i thought i pull off like some kind of veni vidi vici thing and be their hero within a week... ahahah! I honestly had a little identity crisis when i found myself beeing 4 sec off pace with a IMHO perfect lap, lol^^ Took me some months and thousand races to get that this is all about NOT unsettling the car at all and carring speed in instead of out while most importantly NEVER rape your tires, what Rallye and drifting kinda is all about. I basically figured out that my drifing stlye was always very Rally influenced and this is something totally different than i ever did.
It doesn't matter what kind of car KR69 sits in, even like here, in a PORSCHE with only half a steering wheel and the pedals in the middle of the car. You Kalle, are a real star regardless of the car. 😎👍
realistically, toyota has the GR GT car under works, currently set to be ready to race in GT3 in 2026. thats probably where he's heading at this. even a hypercar is a long shot for now. ogier already failed a transition to hypercar. one step at a time.
2:22 No assistance is indeed the purest form of driving! On the same topic, if you turn off all the assists and the car becomes undriveable, to me that means the car is badly built... or if you're a sim-racer, the simulation might be poorly implemented.

The fact that these videos have less than 100k views is crazy, Redbull should start making some KR69 videos to get a larger North american audience, americans love these type of redbull/sports/racing videos and its crazy that these videos, as well as rally racing in general hasnt found more popularity in the US and canada, as I know they would love it if it just had enough awareness and marketing brought to it.

Look Kalle. I have this theory. That Rally Drivers are the best drivers in the world and that with less track time they can be more competitive in relation to racing drivers. IMHO, Colin, Loeb, And Rorhl proved this. No pressure, but you should take the title of the series. Or at the very least, win every wet race.

Hieno video taas kerran! Olisi mielenkiintoista ollut kuulla hieman enemmän kommentteja siitä miltä auto tuntui ensimmäisen ajon jälkeen. Esimerkiksi oliko auto nopeampi ajaa luonnossa kuin simulaattorissa? Missä tilanteissa auto toimi hyvin heti alusta asti ja missä oli enemmän haasteita. Mainitsit jarrujen lukkiutumisherkkyyden kaarteessa, mutta olisi autosta voinut varmaan enemmänkin sanoa. Lisäksi olisi ollut mielenkiintoista kuulla ajatuksia sarjan säännöistä verrattuna WRC-sarjaan. Tässä sarjassa ilmeisesti autojen säätäminen on aika rajattua, kun edes penkin kallistusta ei saanut tehdä.
