One of the best demos on RU-vid of this instrument. I own the Tyros, and still learning it. Especially love the vocal sampling - it is absolutely amazing and realistic beyond belief.

The finger style electric guitar is the best I have heard on a keyboard in my life! The saxophone is simply incredible. I'm sure the acoustic and EPs sound fantastic too. It's way out of my league however so I hope at least some of these sounds make it to the S910 successor. It will be my first Yamaha but I don't even know why I went for something else in the first place! An excellent overview by the way, thank you very much!

Hi, The Tyros 4 has 1/4 inch line outputs, so you can connect the keyboard to any speaker or audio system. The matching speaker system is great, but you are welcome to use any system you like…maybe a larger PA or keyboard amp for performances? A great great presentation as always. I am especially impressed with the choir sound and the e.guitar. I am absolutely amazed by that. I'm struggling to decide whether to go for the Korg Pa3X or the Yamaha Tyros 4. But Yamaha has such gorgeous voices and some of them just touch me in a way that any keyboard ever did. I think it will be a Tyros 4. Thank you!

wooow..I simply loved watching this great video by Peter Baartmans. After watching this video, I am dead-keen to own YAMAHA TYROS-4..!! I thank Kraft Music for arranging and uploading such a great video demo by one of ma favourite artist : Peter Baartmans. He is the right guy to approach for demos. He is simply one of the best reviewist I have ever seen. Once again thanks alot ma dear guys out there. Waiting for more cool stuffs just like this one. I've seen a lots of demos on different keyboards and this is the best among them. Keep up that, sir, very informative and made me appreciate this machine much more. The only problem is I can't afford it or it's not practical for me to buy this for now, Maybe on the next model, the Tyros 5 or Tyros 6 or whenever economically possible. Thanks and best regard.
Peter (and Dave @ Kraft Music). Thanks for the great video. I'm new to this type of keyboard as having just purchased a Yamaha E433 and enjoying learning all that the keyboard has to offer. I enjoy the DVD that came with my Starter Pack that also features Peter. Yamaha sure has some great keyboards. Maybe if I'm careful, my E433 will grow up to be a Tyros 4. Don
Got a new Tyros 4 in october 2010, amazing instrument and I'm always searching for videos and demos to see how others play it. I bought in the past a second hand Tyros 2 and then a second hand Tyros 3. Fortunately the market value doesn't drop much and selling the old for the new is often a good bargain.

Although Casio Privias are nice sounding, affordable digital pianos, they don't even come close to the Yamaha Tyros 4. The Tyros 4 is Yamaha's flagship workstation, and the sound and sampling technology used in the Tyros series eventually trickles down to the rest of the Yamaha keyboard line. Hello, I love the sounds of the Tyros keyboards. I wonder if the keyboards have oriental tuning pads? I do a lot of music that has Quarter tones for belly dancers. Which keyboard would you recommend? Thanks in advance.

Question...If you were to make an original recording of a song you have written on one of these keyboards, are the intros, backing accompaniment, breaks and ending copyrighted by Yamaha or can you freely use them if you decide to record and release an original song using one of these type keyboards and the built-ins without violating copyright laws? Anyone know?
Has anyone ever made a successful commercial recording on one of these things? If so, are the intros, breaks, endings, patterns that are pre-programed into them from the factory copyrighted or are the free to use from commercial usage seeing that you brought them with the unit?
Is it possible to get the vocal harmony function/system elsewhere e.g as a separate hardware/module ( I presume it might even exist already, but just don't know). Many thanks.

Hey Donna, We used the Tyros 4 speaker system for monitoring purposes. What you hear on the video is the direct output of the keyboard connected into our camera. So, this is exactly what you'd hear if you played through headphones or recorded direct to a computer or digital recorder. Feel free to contact me with any other questions. How does the Korg KRONOS compare to the Tyros 4? Can you Sample a sound with this Tyros 4. I know it has USB but wonder about if you can sample sounds with it and play them back at diffrent pitches across the keyboard. Wish they made a 88Key version.
