My 3 year old son is obsessed with watching oldschool Kraftwerk concerts, especially The Robots. Not quite sure how it doesn't creep him out, but hey, whatever makes him happy!
Yeah that this is still fucking rad in 2023 is incredible. I would be surprised if there were any electronic music anywhere in the world that did not trace its lineage back to Kraftwerk by a couple of years later.
@@electrokinesis Thats totally wrong. This wasn't remastered and not even broadcasted in HD. It's just a very high quality recording that was transferred from the Master Tape correctly. It's also from the ZDF Archives, just rebroadcasted by the WDR in 2006.

Meine erste Single, Weihnachten gab es die LP (von meiner lieben Schwester Anette). Kraftwerk-Die-Mensch- Maschine! Bis heute, unvergesslich. Ich war, mit meinem Sohn , beim KONZERT! 2009 in WOB!
No wonder almost any so-called musical journalists/critics of the late 70's, so used to and quick to praise groups with guitars and drums, could understand anything about this not realizing these guys were writing future in front of their eyes.

This is where dance music and 80s synthpop came from. I love all the early Kraftwerk albums. But my favourite is Trans Europe Express. My dad would definitely plump for The Man Machine. ❤
Kraftwerk the greatest band ever to come out of Germany. Not only band but prophetic . Still relevant today, they were in the 1970s. Even more so today!
I regret missing my chance to watch these guys play live at the Hollywood Bowl. It was my one and only chance and I had the cash to splurge on the best seats in the house. I will never live that down. Had I known they were in town I would have snatched tix right away. Oh, the humanity, indeed.
Sono un musicista ed un assiduo ascoltatore di musica di qualsiasi genere purché di qualità. Per esperienza mi viene da dire che solo dei tedeschi avrebbero potuto pensare queste musiche futuristiche già 40 anni fa. Ricordate, solo i tedeschi. Nessun altro si è spinto tanto avanti in quegli anni arrivando ad essere ancora oggi futuristici.
I was a baby. Yet I love this piece. I can say that eventually it turned me to music. Jean-Michel Jarre, AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Beethoven, Paganini and many others along the way. Very touching. Tnx !

А заметили, что у них припев звучит по-русски "я твой слуга, я твой работник", они еще в те времена мечтали превратить русских в рабов..хотя может ошибаюсь и они наоборот, по крайней мере эта группа, хорошо относилась к русским, потому и припев сделала и на русском тоже
@@StaLenin Не надо домысливать всякую хню. У них в песне Nummern цифры звучат, кроме прочего, по-русски и по-японски. Это ни о чём не говорит, кроме того что им, видимо, казалось, что это круто звучит, вот и всё. Кроме того, эти строки произносятся от лица, мать его, РОБОТА. Почему бы, например, не предположить, что их вдохновили успехи советской робототехники? Нет, надо сразу комплекс жертвы включать!
@@alblgz абсолютно правильно! Их "я твой слуга, я твой работник" не несло ни идеологической, ни националистической, ни социальной, ни какой другой подоплёки. Это однозначно понятно из идеи и текста песни.
