I'm a big fan of Kraftwerk and Lego also! I have seeing them 9 times in The Netherlands and Germany. Very nice video! Music Non Stop.

LEGO Kraftwerk short for the win! I listened to them quite a bit in late 80s/early 90s. I've got the cassettes out in the garage still.

Love Kraftwerk. Years and years ago give their greatest hits CD to coworker. She loved it and bought the CD. First time playing it at home soon as the CD started playing her two cats jumped up and went tearing out if the room going upstairs to the other end of the house. Guess her cats were not fans. Enjoyed the video.

Ahhh, I was hoping there would be an update for this! So glad you liked it! And your First pronunciation of my last name was Spot On! As my mom used to say, if you can say 'Ahhh' for the Dr, you can say the last name! And yes, Lego T-shirts.... I have many as well! Soon, I hope to start highlighting them here.

Hallo BrickTsar,; Fahrn, fahrn fahrn auf der Autobahn, that Earworm was immidiatly present when you said Kraftwerk. Danced to it in Discos in Germany. I do have the Maxi LP Das Model, one side english the other German. The cover is different. Thank you, Carola

That Kraftwerk-Minifig-T-shirt is really cool! I would proudly wear that at work and in my free time! Nice how you pronounce "Kraftwerk". Reminded me on your pronunciation of "Chassis". :-) And fo not mind my joking on this: I appreciate your love for this very special German band! I actually have seen Kraftwerk in some live shows (although they are not among my top favorites). My beloved favorite Band "Fink" from Hamburg covered Autobahn in their life shows from time to time) - and actually I abused their rights by putting this as background in some of my non-commercial Lego videos.

In college I discovered dance music through one of the various music pirate softwares.....(over 15 years ago now...wow, insert existential crisis). Kraftwerk quickly went to the top of my person list of all time most influential groups in music. Is it weird or unfortunate that when i was a kid I could make a mix tape (recorded from a source), in high school I could make mix CD's (recorded from a source)...but in college it seemed illegal to make mixed MP3s (recorded from a source)?....kinda weird.

I believe that Snakefimger was the first to cover Kraftwerk when he recorded The Model in 79. It's possible his friends The Residents used the first James Brown sample with a horn blast from Papas Got A Brand New Bag on a release in 76.

I LOVE Kraftwerk and I LOVE LEGO ;) The MIX is a good CD to :P I must of played that to death in the past :D It's a shame The Model track isn't on the Mix CD tho :( The Model is the perfect Pop single/song I think(if it can be called Pop music that is) :D

Sets I never thought I'd collect are the Ninjago Mechs. I bought one of the large ones for $20 at Dirt Cheap. They are great builds. I am now building the four-headed dragon.

@@BrickTsar yeah it is crazy that they reference that because in 1977 Iggy Pop and David Bowie were in Germany recording the album Lust For Life which has the song The Passenger on it. I am sure Kraftwerk Met up with them in Berlin somewhere!
