i have to say this about my Kral...the biggest issue that i had when i first took it out was its accuracy, it was all over the place, but a change of pellet solved that straight away. groups went from 3" at 30yrds to .5 inch simply by changing my pellets to 14g prometheus defiants. i can take a squirrel in the head at 35yrds time and time again. for me, the gun is comfortable to use, accurate and does exactly what i want it to do. as a lifelong HW80 user, i cant fault ' my ' KRAL....yours may be different...my one is supherb piece of kit...
I bought the .25 FAC model, putting out 40ft/lbs and so accurate at 50 meters that a mags grouping can easily be covered by a 1p coin, superb value for a powerful well finished rifle, not quite up to Benjamin or FX standards but at half the price a great buy.
Bought one of these while my hw97kt was getting tuned , had golf course rabbit shoot early doors after zero the scope at 55yards second shot at a rabbit at 62 yards , good gun just a little lighter than my 97 added a moderator to it , whisper quite Oing
It's heavy. The cassette magazines are annoying, but there is a spare in the front stock. The silencer is effective, but rattles. Accuracy is ok with H&N FTT pellets, maybe affected by silencer. 2 pound trigger pull, smooth, and adjustable. You're welcome.
I was comparing the Hatsan Bullmaster and the Evanix Max. I was CERTAIN I was getting one of those two guns. Then I found this one, and the other two became immediately irrelevant.
Another advantage it´s the SAME rifle can operate the three calibers 1.77, 0.22 and 0,25...I suppose also 0,30. You just loose the two allen pins that vertically grip de barrel, put in the new one, adjust the pins and PRESTO!! As it hasn´t regulator there is no need of adjusting air passages, just change the pellet probe.
You actually made it more difficult for me! I was going to get a single-shot that costs more than twice as much as this one... but this review was so good that now I'm reconsidering! If only you were to review the Evanix Rex KT as well now... ;-)
One way or the other you will have to fill the pellets by hand. With a single shot rifle you are already shooting while the guy with the multi shot rifle is still filling his mag. :-)
unfortunately between theoben rapid mags and like you say air arms mags most seem a bit hard but tbh I think everyone needs to hang heads in the knowledge weirauch have clearly the best haha
The cassette mag is far better than the open HW effort, I cant keep the dirt out of the rear of the pellets on the HW mag, resulting in loads of flyers, fluff in my pockets and even rain seemed to effect accuracy, indoors their OK I guess, the AA is good but has to rely on a mechanism to action it, the Theoben type system removed all these working parts, so simple and clean
I have the K PB Marine in stainless with Walnut stock. Love the rifle ,,, its not the notorious rushed out MK1.2s so has non of the barrel issues those rushed out PBs did. Mines in .177 and at 30 yards im getting pellet on pellet with JSB Diablo's. The underneath rail you can fit to mount a bi-pods a very useful little extra. my one gripe... the magazines.. there not the best but then there not the worst. Worth the cash.
Did you try heavy pellets in like JSB? Also you say filling magazine can be a pain, but to be honest with getting two magazines with it and 14 shots in each... 28 shots is great for hunting conditions such as rabbits, pigeons etc. Looks a nice gun though for price.
Thought the cocking lever might be wedged into your face being like me , a left hander , but obviously not according to your review ,, cheers Shane uk 🇬🇧
My apologies if you've already answered this, but, in your opinion, does the side lever and seemingly right hand dedicated cheek rest hinder the left handed shooter? I really like the rifle but there is no left hand version and you can't switch the cocking lever over to the left side.
Good review Rack and a nice "affordable" rifle ! The manual you showed on the power adjustment refers to the FAC only, does the 12 ftlb model not have this feature, was thinking in terms of trimming ferals in a barn etc where damage could be an issue. cheers Phil.
Please don,t get me wrong, I love watching reviews on air rifles but when a person or persons talk about things that don,t relate to the product I.e the caps not Kral and the scope not Kral but I think that when you do a review try keeping to the facts and not your personal view like the fill meter and magazine, just because you don,t like them you over emphasis this too often. Other than this I do enjoy your reviews.
Did you have any feeding issues with with the magazine? And,secondly, did you feel that the polymer rail was a hindrance? Seems like a phenominal value...
As for the magazine, can you recommend one you prefer overall? And when you say you would not want to load one in the field or farmhouse, you have 24 rounds in 2 clips. How many do you need in the field? ;-)
Also, that prob applies to guns such as the Dan Wesson revolver where they know you will buy more 'bullets' cos the time taken to reload the pellets/bb's,
Don't like the trigger mate to heavy i haven't touched it yet.I had totally different results when not using the original muzzle which is to loud.Used my weihraunch perfect and well quieter but tried a custom a+m marksmen it was bollocks shots all over the place and totally not accurate at all,so i tried a+m silencer on weihraunch hw100kt it was fine.My conclusion buy a bog standard weihraunch moderator for this air rifle.
hi rack n load ,nice reviews thinking about this or a gladius , cant find anybody selling spair mags for this kral . also cocking it looks a hassel ,,gladius mags are £10 each and cocking lever more to hand ,but gun heaver and perhaps to chunky looking? , any ideas ,cheers
I was going to say how the first batch Kral bullpups had an issue with loading levers wearing out due to poor alloy used. Then remembered that the Wildcat ALSO suffered from the exact same issue for the first TWO batches! I was going to say that the Wildcat has a regulator, then remembered you can get a bolt-on regulator for the Kral as well... Wildcat doesnt have a power wheel either.. That leaves.. Slightly better trigger and smoothtwist barrel (you can get separate smoothtwist barrels for 300 dollars and machine them to suit the Kral receiver also). ..So that leaves... metal frame for the Picatinny rail (which you can also have machined). So with all that machining and dollars spent, you have a regulated bullpup with adjustable power with subpar trigger for all total at 300 dollars less than the Wildcat (which has no adjustable power). Ultimately, the choice is yours, adjustable power or better trigger!
Hello I just bought a puncher breaker silent Marine from Pyramyd Air and it looks used I would like to send some pictures to you through your email so you can let me know if yours looked like this or mine looks used thanks.
mag jammed in place and will not come out -- any suggestions? I did try pushing gently with a cleaning rod, there is no pellet in the barrel -- just the mag is struck??
A DV seems like they outsource the mags. The screw comes loose on one of my two mags all the time. Such a pain in the ass. Let me know if you find a solution. I';m thinking threadlock that sumabitch..
could not understand . in the states.. had "bloke" from england decode what he was saying. . this "this bloke is a little bit off his kibbon's" . me. owning massive weaps. a smith at that.. blimy!
Still the worst gun i have ever had and i had the 1st one replaced after loose barrel and crown problem, second replacement even worse and nearly left my property which could have left me in big trouble but it missed my bulls eye by about 10 foot at 20 metres my experience of these guns their shite.Just bought fx verminator expensive but surperbly accurate love this gun kral all forgotten.
If you don't know whats going on inside an airgun silencer, would be better knocking reviews on the head fella,be non-captive baffles Parker Hale style, but as you keep saying Read the manual!
Thanks for the reply :D I have since forgotten about the compatto and bought myself a HW100 with a Hawke 8-32 airmax on it :D Sub inch out to 80m so far :)

Bad review. Too much talk, too few facts. The man is too busy listening to himself. He doesn't even care to check specifications before he starts guessing what the specs actually are. The only thing he really tells in this lengthy so called review is, that it is is a good, accurate rifle. It could have been a review, if the gun was benchmarked for accuracy versus range, for power versus range et cetera - compared to other guns.
