I bought one of these based on Andy’s review. Previously I didn’t fancy a bullpump. This one looked nicer than most. I bought it without even seeing one. It was just as good as Andy’s review. If not better. I bought a cheap Viper silencer which makes it really quiet . A couple of things to add to the review. Get a quick couple adapter to screw onto the fill probe. Also at a push the cheek rest comes off so you can get lower if you only have a low mounted scope. Best to get high mounts but this will do until you can get hold of some. Very accurate after a quick clean of the barrel. Thanks Andy for the review.
Good morning Andy , I loved this mornings show , because Iam a big fan of kral Air Rifles. So much so I've bought 4 of them in the past year . As you say they are very impressive in all areas . And they would hold there own against my flag ship air rifles ie Fx and Daystate. Today show was fantastic and informative. It's my 60th Birthday today , so whot a good start to the day . And watch AAR . Take care Andy and thank you for your hard work 😓 Cheers Simon from York 😀😀😀
Thanks for the vid Andy. I have the Kral puncher in 22 cal and love the gun. Everything about it i like. The only thing that i did change was the cocking handle but only because I like the L shaped one better. If anyone is on the fence about this gun jump off of it and get u one. You won’t be disappointed. Keep making them good videos. From a country boy in the good ole USA.
Hoorah! You delivered after teasing us for WEEKS! So, this is rather coincidental, but I just had a note from HR that they screwed up my pay increments in a previous role, and owe me some money,.... and I can feel it burning,.....
I he had one of these for more than two years. It is worth selecting pellets that it likes as some work better than others and a simple pellet choice can improve it no end. Definately better with a suppressor. I like the fact that its back heavy and once shouldered is a pleasure to shoot. I use mine for pest control in the woods, where I've found its size and accuracy to be just perfect for what I do...
@@jorarofu thanks I'll give those a go...im using Prometheus Defiants at the moment, trouble is I've only got around 800 left and they don't make them anymore...
I've had mine for almost three years, in .22 cal. After the first year it had an issue with the cocking system, so I sent it to the US dealer for an overall check and came back better than new. US version full power is 29fp, medium power 17fp. It is very accurrate for its price and yeeessss....you'll be way better with a silencer.
@@omarhammoud7223 Hi Omar! I only use JSB Jumbo Exact 18.13gr and JSB Hades 15.89gr; great accuracy with both. Haven't take it to 100 since it is way off my needs. Actually it is zeroed to 35 and using half power(neighborhood friendly, I think ;-))
@@jorarofu thanks Joe I use the same JSB exact pellet and it works well, does the lighter pellet shift your point of impact by much at 50 ? I noticed about an inch drop
Great review Andy! The Kral PBs are fantastic pups, and some of my personal favorites. I have two of them in .22 cal. 1 black and 1 silver. I highly recommend them. While the earlier versions did have some 'known issues', they were easily fixed, and I don't think the new[est] versions will suffer from that.. They have a great length of pull, charging is quick and simple, nice [adjustable] triggers, and they're amazingly accurate and consistent. Funny story - My 1st one did suffer some down-time when it's valve stem snapped.. I sent it in under warranty to have that fixed, and an extra part sent - 'just in case'.. While it was gone, I hit up KRALE in The Netherlands, and ran across the Artemis P15.. I grabbed one of those and an Artemis PP700-SA [Before they gained popularity] Great prices & Great guns! If it wasn't for that PB breakdown, I never would have known about those, and would have missed out on all sorts of fun! Side note: When the PB was repaired/returned, then re-tuned, it shot even better! 🙂👍 Sam -
It's a good thing you put it off this long. That is the newest version. All of the issues of the older models were addressed and fixed in the new versions along with a much nicer trigger. Probably the best bullpup you can buy for the price.
Andy thanks alot as i did ask what everybody thought about it on FB, I got the same the 177 Synthetic Marine and i love it, i the same as you, i do recommend it and I paid £450

I had mine 3 years now and after tweaking and port alignment, its a beast. It need some love to get it to its full potential
@ Nice one!! Just got remington cleaning pellets for my hatsan mod 55. Now figured I've used it enough to justify getting a PCP :) cheers for your help and obvs this review was mega, too!
Love it, I have a half dozen PCPs including FX and others and this is hands down the best value and my favorite. I have my .22 shooting up to 65fpe! Detuned to 55fpe for about 15 shots shooting 30gr slugs. Love it
We have built a lot of Krals for customers and even a couple of Puncher Pros for our self.. My husband and my self have 2 .22 Pros and 1 .25 pro... We are running both the .22s at 56ftlbs with 27.5 slugs and they are very good... 5 shot 100y groups consistently MOA or better... They shoot with our Impacts and Crowns and HMX LRTs with slugs. Pellets at 100y and in the FX guns are far superior but with slugs the performance is very similar after a full strip down and some mods and a lot of tuning time. 56ftlbs is good for 18 shots on a 3200psi starting fill down to 2550psi and refill.. On our tune you eill have a heavy drop off with each shot once you fall below 2550psi. The extreme spread over those 18 is 26fps and SD 3.2fps but if you just run a 15 shot string the ES is just 9fps and thats normally how we shot them. They have a lot of potential but if you want the performance they are capable of you are going to be modding and a lot of chrony time. They are very responsive to fill pressures and that is a very nice thing as it gives one more tuning option that is as simple as fill pressure change. We have built a couple puncher breakers in .25 for clients that are on 70 to 75ftlb tunes. Very easy to get a 75ftlb gun with 35 to 38 grain slugs but of course your gonna have a short shot string but if your going to just teather the gun you can have a real hammer that is capable of moa 5 shot groups at 100y all day long and 1.25 to 1.5 minute groups at 200y... Just so you know if your running slugs, the Kral barrels hate .218s or .219s in .22... They however really shoot a lot of the dished slugs in .217 very well so long as your pushing them at 900+ with faster better... If you push them up around 980+ the barrels like .217 flat base slugs but they have to be short (lighter weight slugs as the twist rate is to slow to stabilize .22 slugs that are very long.) What we found best is to push NSA .217 flat base 23g slugs at 1010fps and they are lasers out to 150y but start to fall apart before 200y but they are lights out accurate from 150 and in... We have shot a couple half minute 100y 5 shot groups with them in the Pros with a tune pushing them at 1007fps. For what they offer and how mod-able they and the low entry cost they are hard to beat.... Imho the Puncher Pro is the best gun in the 500 dollar range bar none... We it replace my Impacts, Crowns or HM1000X LRTs? Nope not a chance... Is it a super buildable powerhouse that really slings slugs like a laser? Yes.
I've hung my nose over that gun for ages now. I was unsure on what it would be like as all the reviews I've seen have been different in opinions. It seems it is a good bit of kit and worth further investment..... especially now the gun shops are open again! Do I have enough room in the cabinet though?? Best be looking at a re-shuffle me thinks....😉 great review once again Andy. Keep safe.
I have got a "silent" version of this gun that comes out with a simple shroud (no baffle) and still barks over any of my other airguns. I finally took off the shroud to adapt a regular supressor. I love it's design but despite the fact it is a synthetic stock I find it rather heavy for it's size. And I also changed the cocking lever (witch is weak and not so ergonomic) for a "L" version made of plain aluminium. Over all it's an accurate and powerfull bullpup that needs to pay attention.
Great review , watched while drinking from my AAR mug . 👍 I looked at one of these but ended up getting the NP02. I think kral are brilliant for the money. I use a Swift Stumpy silencer and CARM/Darko magazines..
Worth the wait. Thanks so much for another entertaining and helpful review. Love the 'cheese on chips' analogy. I was 21yo before my partner introduced 'cheese on chips' and 'Hummus Kebabs' to me at University. Wish I had dated a vegetarian sooner! Finally, a PCP that looks great and is under £500. However, I better budget for the accessories (Pump, Scope, bag, night vision, silencer etc.). I better keep saving. Looking forward to these ‘Starter Bundles’ your local retailer might be developing with you.
Fantastic review. I have been looking at PCP and my first rifle. First off I was drawn by looks but wanted a no nonsense review. I am considering the wood stock but do like the black synthetic with silver upper. Would have been interesting to hear the difference between suppressed and non suppressed. Thanks Andy, I rather think I see this in my future.
I got one over 2 years ago for a ratting gun and pleased as punch(er) with it, only one thing was that I had to file down the single shot tray as it kept pinching the skirt on loading, paid £350 cash with a silencer at the GBSS
Cracking review thanks Andy. I just got myself a Kral Puncher Knight (hoofing name!) and am similarly leased with it (didn't fancy the bullpup configuration). I also like the open bolt on last shot system. :)
I like the looks of the gun. I think you can get a regulator for it also which in FAC...for me...would be a must have item. I like how you cocked the rifle with your left hand...kinda looks like your giving yourself a hug😂, but quite effective👍. Cool gun. Thanks for the review. Take care God bless.
Nice review, slight contrast compared to the Airgun Gear Show's review where Giles found the magazines to affect accuracy, he had to hand load each pellet via a single shot loader to get "decent groups". Perhaps things have improved with the later models.
Great review Andy i do like the synthetic stock and colour of it . May be a tad on the heavy side ,but i think once you have got your self comfy some where and may be a bipod fitted it would be a very good gun . Very good value for the money , thanks Andy . ( Ivan )
never known an air rifle to have much of a "bark" would have liked to hear a difference of it firing from unsilenced to silenced , but did like the rest of the review
please do a comparison for accuracy and price between /puncher braker /beeman bullpup under leaver /hatsan flash pup /30 /40 /50 yards as im sure lots of people would like to know /i invented the safe shooting passport for air gunner and air gun world books.
Hi Andy, love your channel from the USA. I'm wondering if you could recommend a Springer that would take care of squirrels. I'm new to the airgun world and my neighbors are close by so I don't want something so strong I can't use in the yard but it needs to be strong enough to take out a squirrel. I don't want the expense of a PCP now, CO2 would be ok but I have the Crossman DPMS SBR and I don't believe that would be strong enough. It would obviously need to be accurate also, (especially with neighbors close by), that's why I thought a good Springer rifle would work the best. Can you recommend one please. Thank you Mike
Nice job Andy, Quality review as always Cheese on chips, is this a new cuisine find during lockdown, i'll give it a go on saturday carry out night👍 Stay safe bud and keep it lit.👍
As Tom C states here below: nice gun, but lacking in quality. My experiences: The cocking lever bent from normal use, after a year it started leaking air, I have been warned that the valve stem will break if you use it on full power (this may not apply on the British tuned down version) and there seems to be some quality issue with the trigger. My advice: buy a Hatsan Bullboss. It only costs 60 euro more, but it is VERY reliable. ...I sold my Kral and bought a Hatsan Bullboss.
Hi Andy Love the Chanel especially liked the Kral puncher breaker bull pup review.... to assist with my decision on caliber can you tell me how much energy is retained by a .177 11.8 ft/lb air gun at you usual 40 meter range. I was very interested in the .22 & .25 cal comparison
The cocking lever is way to far back. Maybe because I'm over 50 and my shoulder won't let my arm go that far back without a loud and painfull crunching sound. I know it's a bullpup and that's where the breech is, but it needs a linkage to move the side lever forwards. It's lovely to shoot, horrible to cock
Just received the KPBS Marine version in .22 The forearm picatinny add on rail is, well my youngest could have designed a far better setup. I bought this rifle most due to your and another's review. In hand, this critter feels exactly as you have noted. I am off to shoot it right after posting this question. What is missing is the exact model of those nose bleed scope mount rings? Sadly my fat head won't fit in the Hobbit sized eye relief area between the 'cheek' piece and the highest rings I could find. Thank you! I need those sky scraper mounts you show later in this episode...I believe.
Hi Andy, love the look of this but would you recommend saving a little longer and picking up the Walther Reign? It’s solely for recreational targets and plinking so I’m undecided as to whether the extra expense of the Reign would be worth it so any input would be appreciated 😄
Hey Andy! Howdy from Colorado 😎 Great Vid as I have come to expect. I have a question if you find time. Why would anyone want to have LESS power when you’re already so pinched down with the 12 foot pound business. Thank you Sir!
Hi Bob. I think this feature mainly benefits USA users of the rifle. In the UK I think the only reason lower power settings would be useful is if you're shooting in a small enclosed space. Most domestic gardens here are quite small and are only separated to the next door's garden by a thin board fence.
@@simonnoble7589 Maybe too hard if using a heavier pellet puts it over 12 ft lb. PCP power generally goes up with a heavier pellet, to a point. Having seen a few of these chono'd and owned one myself, all in .177, I very much doubt that's been done with an average weight pellet.
One good thing about the timing of the valve is it really doesn't increase power based on weight of pellet. The light stuff and heavy stuff are pretty much the same power.
as always an excellent review, ive had my eye on a few Krals but always overlooked them, i had my eye on the "Kral Knight" but i look at it and see the webley mastiff. Fantastic looking stock but the reviews for it have always beeen a bit "Meh".
Il am pretty new at these air rifle deals and I have been wanting too get me a 25 caliber's PCP air riffle something with no break Barrell. A friend of my told that Gamo had G2 25 caliber bolt action deal and that what looking for I would like to see one
I think the air tubes with the gauge on the front, are not cool at all.. Any brand, doesn't matter, yeah, its more streamlined if your gun has a removable tube so you can carry a spare out in the woods, but it would be nice to have a push on mini periscope so it would be just as simple has pulling your eye off the scope and see it without as much as moving your head..
A culinary tip I have been given, is that if it's good, it's probably even better with either cheese, a poached egg, or chorizo on top. Sometimes Black Pudding.
@@simonnoble7589 who wants a long bull pup ,, I certainly dont ,, Ive a Whiscombe , two Ripleys and a Sportsmatch , so I dont mind spending , but it wont be on this one , as nice as it first looks.
My options are; Kral Puncher Breaker Kral Empire X Aselkon MX10 Any recommendations which to go for? My local shops dont have any in stock to try before I buy
Hell Andy I just found out about your channel as I'm just getting into shooting with air rifles and would like to know if you have done a review covering the Kral puncher knight? I know it's a new gun and hear its a good gun to shoot but what do you think?
