Friends, what we have been waiting for for so long has almost happened, Swedish tanks are already on the doorstep and now we will open the cherished door for you to take a look at the new equipment. Now in front of you is a new heavy tank of the tenth level - this is the Kranvagn guide.
Of course, this car has not yet been run in, not fired, it is at the stage of open testing and it is quite possible that its parameters may change slightly. However, now we will take a closer look at the Kranvagn characteristics and get an idea about this heavy load.
The first thing I would like to say is that we have at our disposal a modest margin of safety by the standards of heavy tanks of the tenth level, as well as not a record, but quite decent basic visibility of 390 meters.
Despite the rather strong external similarity with French technology, the Kranvagn TTX armor is fundamentally different. Yes, the thickness of the sides and stern here leaves much to be desired; these projections should always be protected and should never be exposed to them.
But take a look at the frontal projection model. Here, first of all, I would like to draw your attention to the tower. Not only does this element in Kranvagn World of Tanks 0.9.17 have an enviable thickness in numbers, but thanks to rational inclinations the scale turns out to be very enviable and when playing from the tower, even the top guns will have difficulty penetrating you.
Our hull is more vulnerable, in most cases we need to try to hide it, but even here, due to the excellent angles of the armor plates and the similarity of the Kranvagn pike nose, the Swedish tank often catches ricochets and is not penetrated.
The strength of the car can also be called mobility. Of course, the French TTs are leaders in this regard, but we also have at our disposal a good maximum speed for a heavy vehicle, which we develop well thanks to decent dynamics. The only drawback lies in maneuverability; be prepared for the fact that having developed a high speed, the Kranvagn tank 0.9.17 is unable to quickly change its trajectory, but you can make a sharp turn by playing with the handbrake.
Our new Swede has become the third heavy tank of the tenth level with a drum loading system and, frankly speaking, its armament is quite similar to the French one, although there is a difference.
The Kranvagn gun has 4 shells in the drum, each of which deals a decent 400 damage, and the interval between shots is 3 seconds, worse than the French one. And the reload time for the entire drum takes as much as 33 seconds, which is undoubtedly long for four shells.
The armor penetration parameters of a conventional BB are standard, and with these indicators you can comfortably fight in almost all conditions. But in order to penetrate heavily armored targets head-on, Kranvagn World of Tanks must have at least 3-4 gold drums at its disposal, this is ideal.
In terms of accuracy, our gun is average, the spread of the gun is not very large, but not small either, the aiming time is quite comfortable, but the stabilization leaves much to be desired. However, these characteristics can be improved with equipment and perks.
But there is one more nuance that can be looked at in different ways. On the one hand, the vertical aiming angles of the Kranvagn WoT 9.17 are excellent, since the gun goes down as much as 12 degrees, but the problem is different, we cannot raise the barrel much, we just need to always remember this.
