In Serbo/Croatian the name "Krasnodar" means "Beautiful gift" -- Krasno/Krasan "beautiful", Dar "Gift"...What a beautiful city. Greets from Kotor, Montenegro.
@@RussianPlus HA!!! We say "Krasni" so its basically the same. Well after all we're 1 civilization - Slavic civilization :))) You know that Serbo/Croatian is so similar to Russian, Belarussian, Ukrainian. Its as if it is 1 old archaic language divided into 3-4 languages :)
@@dddevchonka Because our ancestors, most fiercely fought against the Ottomans. They enslaved Serbia but Montenegrins fought them for the next 3 centuries. My ancestors were roaming and hiding in the mountains of Montenegro like: Durmitor, Visitor, Maglenik, Lovcen, Orjen, Bjelasica, Sinjajevica, Prokletije and from there they used to attack the Ottoman caravans transporting weapons to their army in Bosnia. They used to collect the weapons and then fight them so hard that they eventually ran away from our country. During the Ottoman occupation of the Balkans 70% of Montenegrin territory was never occupied. Hence the name Serbian Sparta. Because our ancestors were incredibly tall and physical. Basically the same is today. If you look Montenegrins they're among the tallest people on the planet...I am myself 195cm...my father the same, my two brothers 202 and 208cm... My cousins all over 2m in height...We are a natural born fighters. Simply because we were threatened from basically all sides...Ottomans, Venetians, Austro Hungarians... But our ancestors managed to crush them all :*
@@alegrich Yes, and theres around 20.000 Russians living here imagine :)) They like the climate, but then again our FAITH is whats really great for the Russians here. Cheers man!!
I can't believe just how much Russia has changed in the last 20 years !!! I spent a lot of time travelling around the entire former USSR in the 1990's and SO Much has changed for the better in so many places there now !!! I still love Russia and would really like to see it all again !!!
What's so fake? This guy believes that Russia is still communist, typical North American idiot, here in Samara you can go to school without fear of shootings happening. 😂😂😂

RussianPlus, whoever you are, I am excited now to know more about Russia. Most of my life I always look at window of everything good from the US & Europe and never look at the other window of good things from Russia. I'm glad a person like you, born in Russia but grew up in the US because of your accented English, have shown me and to the world all the good things Russia has. Again, thank you so much!
Russia should bring over more White Farmers / Afrikaaners to settle. I'm ashamed my country Australia has turned its back and ignores the genocide taking place.
@@tommyslavic898same for the Netherlands, government is willing to host asylum for lots of people but refused to show solidarity to the white Afrikaners
Wow! the last time I was in Russia was 1997, Khabarovsk. The change just blows ones mind. It is so clean, beautiful and seems so progressive. I want to see and experience that society again. I would like to visit Russia again. I am trying to brush up on my language skills an it is easier with the Internet to get help but total emersion would be the only way.
it may seem so if you've never been to russia. unfortunately, in reality it is a deep deep shit hole. even in moscow. you can't compare it with the cleanliness of the US cities. sure you can find some trash in the US, but you'll find ten times more of it in any russian city.
@Jeff Dick Uh? lined up to marry American men? Where did you see this? In a mail order bride website? It's mostly older women and single mothers who are looking for foreign men.
Wow, had no idea that Russian cities were like this, much more modern, clean and organized than we are led to believe here in the US. They seem to be safer than US cities. Your videos are very professionally done and your English is easy to understand. I liked your Vladivostok video as well. Greatings from Florida USA.
@@user-qj6io9yt7d Hello. I’ve lived in Florida since 1984 and have never had a gator closer than 50 feet from me (except in petting zoos). Occasionally one will be in the lake behind my house but they get scared as soon as you walk toward the water. We know which lakes and rivers to avoid swimming in, a small minority. Never had a poisonous snake problem in residential areas either. The flying roaches (palmetto bugs) only are seen in the southern 25% of Florida and they are only attracted to bright lights during the summer. Orlando tourists never encounter any. They are not a problem, even during sporting events and north of Palm Beach we don’t see any. Australia is the place I think you are confusing us with all the dangerous animals, no comparison to Florida. Anyway, I still think Russia is an amazing place with beautiful cities. Cheers!
R Thank you for this vido, very interesting to know this city. I live in France and I learn to speak Russian. Russia is a proud country to consider, in this badly globalist world and decaying western civilization.
I've lived in Krasnodar for 6 years when studying Medicine from 1986 to 1993 af fhe Kuban State Medical Academy. What a heck! I don't recognize Krasnodar anymore. It has changed a lot in 30 years!
I stumbled across your channel the other day cause it showed up in my "recommended" section. I love it! Great content about a country I've been fascinated with my entire life. I've traveled all over the world but I've never been to Russia. It's still on "my list". Such a big country and I'd love to visit one day. Hi, thank you for the Video. I was in Krosnadar 35 years ago from 1977 to 1982 as a foreign student in Kuban Agriculture University. In Kalinina Street. After I finished the studies I never had a chance to go back and visit the city again. Thanks to you, I had an opportunity see some parts of the city again Since then the city appears to have changed a lot. I could recognize only a few places. Just wanted to tell you that, there is a very nice park (dendrobium) within the agricultural university too .. Hope you will make a video on that too next time.
