The Sanctuary of Sedona's client testimonial. A detailed account about Kratom dependence and addiction. The effects of kratom, how it can take over your life, trying to stop using kratom, and the bad opiate-like withdrawals.
The dark side of Kratom. Kratom Addiction is becoming more common, sold in smoke shops, by mail taken as tea or pills. Served in kratom bars, and kava bars, an alternative to alcohol
Kratom is touted as natural, organic, and harmless but Kratom is very addictive.
Kratom has similar effects to opioids and stimulants. The main component of Kratom is mitragynine, which can be nearly 13 times stronger than morphine.
Kratom is made from the leaves of a Southeast Asian tropical evergreen tree (Mitragyna speciosa). Made into a powder that can be taken as a pill or made into tea.

This stuff is too good to be true! When i started 7 years ago, i couldn't believe i found this natural supplement that made me feel this good. Fast forward 7 years later, and it ruined my stomach. My liver is showing signs of failure i am hopelessly anxious all the time. I can't socialize or be around people now. It wasn't always like that at first it was amazing, but once i became addicted to it, it took completely over. It's all i thought about all i wanted to do. Couldn't leave the house without planning my doses. Im only on day 11 without it, but it's hard not to go get some right now. It's a constant struggle within myself not to break and cave and go back. Just be careful using this stuff. If you want to use it once in awhile fine but with my experience it will suck you in quick.

And you're right about the soullessness. I don't have feelings anymore. I don't like to talk on the phone to anyone. I hate it. Because it takes a time. I don't want to be bothered with anything!! And I mean anything! Eating is a chore. I try to eat something like peanut butter and milk and crackers something that I don't have to prepare prepare. I hate everything it seems.. This stuff is is insidious. Craedom worked for about maybe 2 years. But Since the last one and a 1/2 years it has turned on me. And I can't seem to quit this crap. It feels like a mental bond. Then I have with this substance.

I did it!! Cold turkey!! I had a huge addiction for 2.5 years to kratom, I said enough!! The withdrawals were awful, and I made myself feel every bit of it. Will never touch the krap again.

@@tracemagace8434 Thanks for the reply trace but can you please tell me what you went through concerning your withdrawals from k r a t o m. I'm very curious. I know I Read many testimonies but I would like to hear yours. For support. For some incentive to quit myself. I take about twenty eight grams per day. Four doses. Twenty thing is I hardly feel anything anymore. But I still take this c***

I've off it for 8 days and it's not the first time. It's brutal. I have 16 years of alcoholism, then several years of opiates and anything else, then these last 4+ years Kratom...tons of it, numerous consecutive months of everyday use and multiple times coming off it and getting clean. It's a bitch. I'm going to meetings and doing everything I can to not use.

Very good video. One question. How much were you doing? I do 25 g per day .6 gram doses.There was only a few times that I didn't dose before the withdrawal set in and I could tell you the beginning of the withdrawals were. Nothing to laugh about.I was on the expressway going 65 miles an hour.I was screaming to myself.It was frightening! In my arms I couldn't keep still. I was shaking Uncontrollably! It was so scary I couldn't wait to get home I could hardly drive. Plus I Had sort of hallucinating like in a dream like state. Then I couldn't keep my eyes open! a terrifying experience. Now that only lasted for about 20 minutes before I got home so I could dose. But could that be the withdrawals that you're talking about?And if I wait too long before my next dose I start sneezing uncontrollably.I'm talking 10 15 20 times sneezes right after another.The funny thing is I don't feel much on it anymore. In fact many times it makes me miserable.

But after 4 , 5 days I felt no withdrawals whatsoever with from the opioids.But even if you take Is Kr ATO Mfor 3 , 4 days and stop you're still gonna have to pay the Piperr. You're gonna have withdrawals no matter what. the only problem really is .... No sleep! All the different color strains are the same. It's called marketing. I could run or play tennis on green red or white. And I can sleep like a baby on green red or white. Right. Absolutely no Difference at all. Even the names they give to these strains is crazy.

Good video, Good información!! I personally went to Costa rica treatment center for 1month, and probably should have stayed 2 months!! Everything you say is similar to what I have experienced. I used for 7, or 8 years, after so many years, I always more or less took the same amount, day and night!! Never constipado, but a slave to the power. After 1 month, I left the rehab, feeling pretty good, but taking 300mg gabapentin in morning, noon, and 600 at night along with sleep aid. Now one month later still struggling!! Any stress in life makes not using even more difficult. When will I feel better!??

Ummm... massive difference is that if you're addicted to it and have withdrawals you can always keep getting some and taper off. This is not the case with lots of different pills and substances that are restricted. Another hit piece on kratom over here.

They make it sound more scary then it should. I broke off long term kratom habits several times and it wasn't much worst then a flu. Symptoms are even less if you taper slowly. Of course you will be sick if you suddenly quit from a heavy habit. Plus, taking a small amount while quitting will not reset your withdrawals like hard drugs.

Kratom is a dangerous drug that is very addictive and really hard to get off of BECAUSE it's legal and easy to get many places. That's a bullshit argument, an addict will get their drugs no matter how illegal they are. Kratom can kill you too, it's not safe. People have overdosed and died from Mitragynine (the active drug in kratom) toxicity. It needs to be scheduled and restricted just like any other opiate.
@tracemagace8434
@tracemagace8434 2 года назад
Not a hit piece. Just sharing experience. Yes, it should be legal. However, people need to know what they are using.
