The crazy thing is, he put this album out right after Art Of War by Bone Thugs, which was another double album full of Krayzie hooks and verses. The guy is a legendary songwriter who doesn't get enough respect.
One of the best and most creative albums ever put together. One of my faves since I was 12. A true start to finish album. No need to skip. Your song is always coming on next.
Thank you so much for posting this album. It is a favorite. I guess a 62 year old white guy from Iowa is not "supposed" to be into this music but dammit I don't care. This is just awesomely done music.

@@psychedelicfright85 what made me mad was the album showed up on tidal for 1 day and then they took it down SMH I don't know who to go after behind this im actually paying for streaming service and this happens 😔
@@chiefsguy7236 it sucks when that happens. There's a band I like, and their latest album, is ONLY on Napster. Not available anywhere else. I mean nowhere.
Just such a classic bridge of their talent I know I rocked this album all summer in my rotation plus years later..it don't change it's an eryday thang frfr ❤🎉💯💯🎶🎶🎶🎶🎹🎛️🎚️🎙️
I'm sorry for your loss. The album is rather incredible and ahead of its time. I'm a classically trained pianist and musician and as of late i have been revisiting a number of childhood musical memories, this being one of them; it's an incredible document. I dare say that i believe your brother was ahead of his time in his appreciation for KB's work.
@@chiefsguy7236 I truly believe that is happening due to some legal issues with Ruthless records, in my resume, Tomica doesn't allow it. Krayzie was working to have access on his masters but it had been a few years since then
@@viniciuscanovas bro the album thug mentality showed up on tidal streaming app for 1 day how I knew because every time I log in that's the 1st album I look for praying it would b on there was so happy and then the next day they took it down SMH like WTF😔
When is CD came out I was in high school I was just starting high School when this CD came out had a good day fly by good old gangster rap I miss it this CD go hard really hard
I only had enough for 1 cd. The finals saw Thug Mentality vs Nas I am. Both classics. Krazy came out the winner that night back in April of 99. Actually I think we the fans are. Rap of the 80-90s was like rock in the 60s/70s, ain't never gonna be a better era. RIP hip-hop
It's good that bone bring people back to reality about what would be going on in the streets and what can happen living that street life struggling getting your hustle on not having no money not having no decent place to stay growing up fast before your time
Krayzie bone is cool as hell, i got to hang out with him, Felicia and O from thugline, my profile picture is the poster he autograph for me backstage at the thug mentality tour in Kissimmee FL
Playing this album brings me back to memory lane man All the losses and the glory All the good times when everybody was kickin it, no worries on the horizon All the chill sessions where this was in the back ground The days i was on the bus off to a job i hated bumpin this album on repeat I can keep goin man This album really changed my view on music, and more A gem too many aint heard yet
I used too play Nintendo Xbox and of course PlayStation One to 3 PlayStations for myself two Xboxes when I was a younger child for myself 😄 like music 🎶 went all over the place for me to keep me amused by me for fun ☺️
I come from Chester Pa my dream at 12 was too up and one you the 6 member but I v lived a crazy life in and out of jail but mim tired living norman my babys dependent on me
This album is an Underrated Classic. So many Classic Dope Bangers on this double disc album. I still believe this was Krayzie Bone's Best Solo Album. This was definitely the Best solo album from any member of Bone Thugs. Thug Mentality 1999 is even better than most of the Group Albums. This is just as Great as The Art Of War album if not a little better. In my opinion this was the Best Hip Hop Album of the Year for 1999. I'll even pick this album over Eminem's "Slim Shady LP" album, and I will also pick it over Dr. Dre's "The Chronic 2001" album from 1999.
The Platinum album, Thug Mentality 1999, is not there. The most popular single, Thug Mentality, from the platinum album is not there😓 The music business does not care about real fans🤦🏻♀️ They cannot criticize us enjoying non-official uploaded videos on RU-vid.
@@spartanrealah2121 I hope he does. Hopefully the original version. As we listen to this popular song on streaming services, probably he can get money if there’s no music business issue…
I'm a massive Bone Thugs-N-Harmony fan this album in 99 tons of ass you know cool ass to the desk album by him then just playing Rock et super by him and thought it was a great tooth this album by him but he had mad Flows from him in his mic skills that he possess for him
