Oh Lord!! A True Classic!! I was in My first month of College (NYIT)!! In Manhattan 61st and Broadway near the Original New York Coliseum, When I heard this Song on My classmates Boom Box!! I know it was 1983!! Across the street down other side was Silver Shadow and Zanzibar and Red Parrot 🦜!! Man I Really miss those Days!! We had fun, Compared to what kids consider fun now!! Not!!
I'm 48yrs old. I've been looking for this song since 1984! I sang the hook of this song into my cell phone & I finally got the song I been looking for yesterday while I'm on vacation from work! You DONT KNOW HOW HAPPY I AM ! THANKS FOR POSTING THIS JOINT! ONE LOVE !
Went to a House Music event in Brooklyn NY a few years back……the event was real good…..but when they put this jam on, people lost their minds….some were crying and singing all the words……iconic event!!!
On my way to New York City for a untouchable weekend thanks for the music and good times and friends I've met and still commute to see after all these years amazing🔥
I can remember dancing my happy as$ off to this song. Haven't heard it in decades..a random house mix brought me here ..the break in this song, is just so mind freeing, and the creator of natural highs. I needed this this morning. Thank you for posting.
This song was big in 1983 Zimbabwe boarding school, my Zambian buddy used to bring in cassettes he would have nightclub DJs make for him. This song reminds me of him
@@MixsenseiSkies sounds familiar it's been 40 years since highschool lol what are the odds of that?!? He certainly would come back from school holidays with stories of the Lusaka nightclub scene and mixed tapes that were as good as gold. They were always very fuzzy ( poor recordings) obviously copies of copies. But we'd play them in the school common room boom box all term until the tape broke or the player chewed it up 🤣
Antonio Midyette You mean the ORIGINAL TUESDAY NIGHT LADIES NIGHT AT THE Renaissance Parsons and Hillside Dj's Elia and Conrad This Was Every Chicks Favorite Turn Up Jam lol😂
Holy Crap....Yes, The Encore! Wow, haven't mentioned Encore since 1987!! Great memories. This song plus Saturday Love. Me and my now ex-wife use to party to that.

Whew the memories of this song. Catacombs Catacombs the Paradise Garage the Clubhouse in DC we use to mop slop the floor up off of this song. Sweat tripping. These were the days of partying. We didn't have a care in the world. Work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, this song used to play on WBLS, and 98.7 KissFM, but I never NEVER heard this on WKTU. And most of all, if you stepped into Bentleys on 40th between Madison and Park, SugarDaddy (House DJ) always ripped the house up off this joint. Word UP!
Loved this track, used to hear it on Capital radio Friday night at the Lyceum with Greg Edwards, or was it Solar, or JFM, or another pirate in London back in the day. Such a sweet jam.
LOL THAT'S RIGHT, THERE WAS A CLUB @ WTC, I always heard of it but wasn't going out heavily at that time, what was the place like? And who was the DJ (s)?
Not only was there a club up there in the middle floors, but there was ALSO a club right down on the bottom level near the E train.... been to both those joints... partyin hard back then!
Man I can't begin to tell you how I felt when I found this joint on here. This jam is vicious and it sounds even better with age. Now this is what club music is all about. Show em' how to do it, son !
Its amazing how many of the songs in this era had the same drum machines, synths and formula but I really don't get tired of it. I remember liking this one back in the day but listening again, it sounds awesome.
Sweeeet House Song! I had looked a while for this gem! Back-in-the-Day, this was underground in Boston, but Nice! Of course, I went to school and partied for many years in The NYC Burroughs and beyond . . . In reference to any lists, I would Start with "Release Yourself" by The Aleems! That's just Me! And, of course Bohannon's "Start the Dance" is what really "set it off" in the club! Larry Levan's / Underground Solution"s "Luv Dancin' " and "Don't Make Me Wait" by the NYC Peachboys are high up there! Marshall Jefferson's "Move, Your Body" and "Follow Me" by Aly-Us aren"t bad either. There are some I missed, but thank goodness they're great and filled with memories when we put it down and stamped that era of music and clubbing!!! Thanks, I'm going to check out more on this list. Peace! . . . Black, White, Blue, All Life Matters! Watch it on a Dance Floor, it's that easy! Later . . .😎👍🎵❤🙏😁
I would play this song so much around the house when I lived in Connecticut that it became a family athem. The entire family would dance all night long James Brown, Unlimted Touch, Cameo, Barry White, and Michael Jackson just to name a few. Those were the days. WBLS use to play this hit. Life was good then. Life is good now. Hi Paul Anderson. Are you still singing? Listening to this tracks makes me want to run in my studio and play so records. I have 2 copies of the 12 inch to remix live,
@@dontaviouschandler3961 that's cool, that was a real party jam where the chicks hear it & run to the dance floor, dance with anyone just to be dancing, the good old days

Sugar Daddy used to smash this at Bentleys NYC, If I didnt wanna take the train to Manhattan, Id go to Club Serene's (DJ Charisma) Talk of the Town (DJ Mario) BKNY and rock to this.
Something that is bothering me at the same time that I am enjoying this is.... I USED TO HAVE THIS!!!! And it had a cut out of HERACHIO covering the logo, and it along with my collection at that time (mid 90s, 3 and a half crates) got away from me (long story) but the short of it is I was not responsible as a man. Anyway I miss my collection so much ,I am really really starting ,in the last 5 to 6 years ( I'm 50 now), understand what this music really meant to the LOFT and PARADISE GARAGE family ( early ZANZIBAR and DOCKS in Jersey were I'm from). I didn't go to the Garage after my 1st and only visit in August of 87...I thought it'd be there forever...........................I can't continue, peace family.
OK guys, U saw my top 5, but here's the next 5 that makes my Top 10. #6 inner life, Ain't no mountain high enough. #7 Bad times.( I can't stand it) #8 Central line, Walking in Sunshine. #9 Chip E, Like This. #10 Ally-Us Follow Me
