I have been listening to them since I was a teenager. Coma of Souls was the first album I bought from them. Until now, I couldn't say if Mile and companions really evolved as musicians. They have had the same sound since then, and even the same theme for lyrical contents.

I am not sure, since they also recorded the following "less typical" albums: Renewal (1992), Cause for Conflict (1995), Outcast (1997), Endorama (1999). As a progressive music fan I absolutely love these records, but I am not so sure if that's true in case of hardcore thrash metal fans.

Kreator sind stabil. Aber ich vermisse seit langem die großen Melodien und Harmonien von "früher", die es auf Extreme Aggression und vor allem auf Coma of Souls gab. In den 2000er Jahren knüppeln Kreator und schreit Mille meistens nur noch - schnell, brutal und vor allem abgehackt - wenn auch auf relativ hohem Niveau. Aber wirkliche Kreativität vermisse ich. Seit Outcast klingt vieles zu gleich um wirklich aus der Masse herauszustechen und im Ohr zu bleiben. Leave this World behind und vielleicht noch Phobia sind die letzten Songs von Kreator, die tatsächlich als einzelne Songs im Ohr blieben, danach verschwimmt alles zu einer anonymen Masse von Songs, die nach ein-, maximal zweimal Hören im Regal vergammeln.
