I have a Kreg jig from the early nineties. It’s all metal and very sturdy.

Really nice setup. It has given me a couple ideas for my own jig

Exactly what I was thinking about - but was trying to figure out the best way to support that kreg jig slide out with all of the weight on it/pressure down. And I think this is a good idea. Was thinking about some slide out supports but it feels harder to actually get into that same space. So thanks for the idea!
