On June 27, two Russian missiles hit Kremenchuk in Poltava region.
One of the missiles destroyed the popular Amstor shopping mall, where people were staying.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, as of 9:00 a.m. on July 1, 28 body fragments were found at the site of the explosion. A total of 19 people were killed as a result of the missile attack, 62 people were injured, of whom 26 were hospitalized.
According to the Office of the Prosecutor General, as of June 28, 36 people were considered missing.
The Russian Defense Ministry acknowledged the attack on Kremenchuk, but denied that it targeted a civilian facility.
The Russians said that the target of the attack were hangars with weapons and ammunition from the United States and European countries.
