Based on your review I went out and bought the Kreiga 40L combo for my Supersport. Great how to guide and great review!! Im using first time this weekend but planning to see if I can mount and remove all 3 at once without separating the 2 10L's from the 20L. Agree they are probably the best looking luggage option for Supersports!
Great content. Your video was great and so informative. Thanks for such a comprehensive insight into the Kriega system. I have just ordered 2 x 10L; 1 x 20L and 1 x 30L in the BF sales. Great value for a 10 year warranty product. Good on you and thanks again.
Hey Stace, great review! I just got my 950S a few weeks ago and want to start doing some longer trips. Did you ever consider/compare your 40l combo to to a 50l combo - either 30l + 2x10l on the side or 30l + 20l on top? Still trying to find out what's best and how much capacity I need. Keep up the great content. Greetings all the way from Germany.
Hi Stace, I really enjoyed your informative impressions of the Kriega Combo, and have a US30 on order for my 2018 SS-S (white, natch). Did you experience any scuffing to either the seat or the bodywork? The US30 was ordered primarily for my ADV bike as I have a Ventura rack pack for the Ducati (when the pack is not fitted this turns into a nice secure grab rail for pillions). The Ventura works really well - stable, don't notice it's there etc. Your vid has inspired me to fit the US30 in front of it at times when I'm planning some moto-camping. Thanks for all your vids on Boe. One even helped me fix the St. Vitus dance of the Ducati's mirrors.
No scuffing at all! No part of the bags touched the under seat fairing and the seat is fine too. After two trips, anyway. Snap... Boe is a 2018 as well. And yeah those US tail packs are useful in different ways. I have the 20, two 10s, and a 5. Mix and match.
The kreigra are brilliant, i have 30ltr 2x 20ltr & strap mine on the same way but if i need to get anything from the 30ltr i just let the 20ltr drop to the sde and get into the 30ltr and flip the back up after and just tighten the top straps down again on the 20lts. I have had this combo for over 10 years. The only problem is that the rubber starts to crumble and flake off.
Thank you JTSM 😊 . The Supersport has loops already attached to the underside of the seat. But all the Kriega packs come with extra straps to attach to the subframe. I recall doing that when I had a Scrambler but don't have any pics, sorry.
I hate panniers, they always wide and clunky. This is the best setup in my opinion. I have the US 30 and it fits so much stuff i didnt find the need to add another bag. Kriega makes quality products but definitely not cheap. Your bike is lovely, take care.
I run the oem panniers when ever I need to pack stuff. they work amazing came with my bike. Wouldn’t spend the 1k for them tho. But they are so convenient. Able to fit all my boxing equipment n more.n they come off in 2 seconds so I can put them on n off quick. Mainly ride without them.
No it doesn't run hot as in it stays inside it's expected running temperatures, and the thermo fans work to keep it that way on very hot days. But yes, it does feel quite warm in slow traffic and at stop lights on warm days. It's a Ducati, part of its character.
