Will krillen in terms of fighting intelligence is much more skilled then goku it has been argued that if he was a saiyan krillen would have been a much more skilled fighter than goku beating him without actually increasing in power level just by watching goku and learning his moves he would have found ways to counteract them yeah he probably would have lost eventually if it came down to stamina but krillen being smarter probably would have not let get that far.
>Back when Tien and Chiaotzu were the only characters who could fly >Back when using energy attacks was a major accomplishment >Back when the dodonpa was a technique that existed >Back when Chiaotzu was a legitimately dangerous villain
Actually, in Dragonball and early DBZ, Yamcha was known to be one of the best at manipulating ki (Kami said so himself), so mastering the Kamehameha would be easier for him than most characters. Infact he was the first one in the whole series to master ki manipulation enough to form it into a ball and control it with psychokinesis.
i said the same thing when i watch this fight again and goku just learned it in his prime while krillin learned it in his child hood yrs...what a sign this could lead lol that krillin is some what better then goku :D
The world martial arts tournament was a lot smaller in DB, notice how all the people watching are standing unorganized in a crowd, while in DBZ it takes place in an actual stadium with enough seats to hold thousands, and is televised Somewhere between DB and DBZ the world martial arts tournament became the world sport, so many people in DBZ probably aren't aware of these fights
Real Super Sand Goku doesn't have a single original attack, with the exception of the Dragon Fist and he didn't even create/use that until AFTER the Buu saga.
PANICBLADE Whats funnier is that Krillin, Tien and Piccolo not being as strong as Goku, they actually are better Ki manipulators than Goku himself, they created lots of different and orginal techniques compared to other characters.
The gaming Kings Duh, Krillin doesn't know instant transmission, but what he did pretty much works the same way. The whole point is that Krillin pulled off stuff as a kid that adult Super Saiyan Goku is considered a fighting genius for.
That moment when you realize krillin did the very first instant transmission kamehameha Edit: I never thought people would see this as me being serious. It is an obvious joke. 12/17/2020
Samuel Garcia Well, *now* they are. Because they have the same PL(maybe a bit more) of Goku when he face Raditz. I also don't get what saibamen have to do with this.
anyone ever notice that the people at the tournaments in dragon ball are hardly ever shocked. But in DBZ they are always amazed when sombody does a ki blast or can fly
there was a fucking dragon creature at a martial arts tournament and everyone was like "That's okay, as long as no one uses energy attacks this is cool"
i remember the announcer saying in the manga during the buu saga that after goku, krillin, and yamcha stopped attending the tenkaichi budokai the event became a lot more boring, they took their weirdness magnet with them
Gotta appreciate how while Goku just messed up a car and Yamcha just shot a still guy and got his reflected back at him for their first uses, Krillin actually manages to not only pull it off but also mix up his opponent and time it's release to exactly the right moment. Long before Goku did the Instant Transmission Krillin pulled this very similar idea on his first successful use of the move.
I think its dumb. Why is this battle the first time he's used the kamehameha, when he's not even sure if he can pull it off, and not when he's training.
@@borrachogato2646 Cause he hadn't been training to learn it as it wasn't necesary and thought of trying it on the spot, since he saw no other way of actually hiiting chaotzu as he was flying and zoning him out.
@@hectorhernandezaleman3836 So you're telling me that Krillin didn't think learning the kamehameha would be usefull to counter Goku or Yamcha if he faced off against them. You dont think he'd naturally want to learn to shoot a big destructive lazer from his hands.
How frustrating must it be for Roshi that it took him 50 years to learn the Kamehameha Wave, but everyone else can do it after seeing the move a handful of times.
TheBri-ex The Garlic Hou is essentially the same as the Kamehameha and Trunks used it at least two times in the Future Black arc. Anyone powerful enough can do it since it's just a basic ki attack except a bit more powerful. Nothing especial about it.
Not only did Krillin used the Kamehameha despite having little experience, he also literally did the instant transmission Kamehameha way back before the Cell games
Ciaotzu is by far the most useless Z fighter, he never won a single match of relevance in the series. Even after all the cheap tricks he used in this one, he still lost.
+SpyCrab Productions Doubt he'll make a comeback. Even in the Sayian saga where he was most useful ("useful" being used VERY loosely, mind you), he basically gave up training. There was a scene where all the other Z fighters were sparring with one another, even Yajirobe, and Ciaotzu was just standing in the background watching them all. Like wtf dude your planet is on the line and you couldn't bother to be getting stronger to help save it? Fucking useless. Idk why he was even made a character, he basically shows up to fights just to see how useless he is so he can leave.
"I'm impressed by Krillin's strength, it's improved a great deal" Said no one ever again in DBZ history ... instead Krillin became a rare candy to Saiyans to advance to the next level
"if he had bothered to learn the Kamehameha properly chiaotzu would be dust right now" Bro it's season 3, let me fix that for you "If I had bothered to teach him the Kamehameha instead of perving on launch for 3 years chiaotzu would be dust right now."
I love how Master Roshi has the balls to say, "If he had bothered to learn the Kamehameha properly..." Maybe if he had bothered to TEACH his students any techniques, then they wouldn't have to wing it in a battle versus a rival school. Master Roshi was pretty damn awesome during this part of the series, but an excellent sensei he ain't.
He does say during the training that the techniques would come later. Keep in mind, he'd never seen anyone else learn it quick before Goku, he probably had a 20 year plan to train them.
"I REALLY WISH I COULD DO THIS SUPER ATTACK...OH WAIT YOU LITERALLY JUST SAY THE NAME OF IT WHILE CUPPING YOUR HANDS." Why the fuck did Master Roshi say it would take like 50 years to learn this shit!?
chris condon Freezer also steal krillin moves when making his version of the Kienzan (Desructo Disk) to try and cut Goku, perhaps after getting his tail cut thought was a great technique.
This had to have been instant transmission. We witnessed Krillin jump straight up to dodge the dodom ray. For him to have appeared behind Chiaoutzu, he would have had to "move quickly" behind Chiaoutzu while in mid air after having already jumped straight up. According to Newtons 1st law of motion, this would be impossible. Therefore, in order to appear behind Chiaoutzu Krillin must have teleported
@@dsadad21 Exactly. Goku couldn't even fly before after visiting King Kai. And then he still used his Nimbus to arrive at the fight with Nappa and Vegeta.
Davysama, Ph.D Sorry about the really late reply. I didn't mean to go off on the wrong foot. I understand that the Warp Kamehameha requires instant transmission, but the way the creators made this episode they made it look like an actual warp kamehameha. Which hence the terms Warp from a joking point of view. What I meant to say back then is sorry if I offended you. And I do apologies for anyone who possibly took offense to my comment. I love the series I watched every episode of the original DBZ up until the Buu Saga.
Syralys Lol, it's okay, you might be over thinking this though. I still don't see how anyone could get offended over anything you said... it's really cool that you actually took the effort to apologize though, even if you didn't do anything and the whole thing was just a missunderstanding. :D Also it does look like a warp Kamehameha, lol
Chiaotzu - enjoyed really his first and only moment in the series with this fight. He had such a unique design, all this intrigue with different techniques which were very mysterious. And that shot - which I assume is lifted from the manga - of him floating over an exploding stage with his finger pointed at it - is pretty awesome. But after this battle boy did he fall off.
Krillin has died 4 times throughout DB from what I remember. He dies onces in Dragon Ball to I believe one of Picollos minions. In DBZ he dies at the hands of Frieza, then again against Super Buu (Though he was selfless in trying to defend his friends and family), then in GT he dies against Super 17. On a side note, Krillin does have a "5th" death, which would be Future Krillins death at the hands of 18
Don't forget that there are at least 2 timelines where 18 killed Krillin. Cells timeline to be specific. So that's a total of 6 deaths we can be sure of
one of the top 5 smartest kamehameha its sad we cant see that type of things anymore. goku's underwater kamehameha is the last smart ki technique if i am not wrong
It's funny how back then in dragonball doing the Kamehameha was a move that took a lot of energy and only a handful of people could do, but a day's everyone and their mothers can do it without even trying 😆
It took 50 years for Roshi to do it. Goku and Yamcha mastered it the very first time they attempted it and Krillin only needed like two quick attempts to master it.
