@@MsLizzybusy I feel exactly the same way. I'm 31 and struggle to take care of myself sometimes, so I couldn't even imagine adding kids to the equation. I always thought growing up that it was necessary, a part of life, but I have realized that is not the case. I'm happy with my decision ❤️

@@janityy 26 was "old" when women died at 40. Now with the life expectancy you have to be imature to have kids before 30. More women these days chose to develop a career and enjoy their life and husband first. Kids kinda ruin all that.

@@janityy not true at all. Times are different. Technology and medicine have improved drastically. And also I believe you’re focused on the wrong thing. Yes, time does matter but it shouldn’t be the number one thing on the list. Being mentally stable, emotionally mature, financially stable and finding a good partner to help raise the kid is MUCH more important and something people should take more seriously. And having all of that before 26 is just unrealistic for so many people. So many messed up adults roam our earth because of their awful childhood caused by horrible parents who weren’t ready for a baby due to current lifestyle, uneducated, abusive(emotionally,verbally and physically), emotionally immature, financially unstable etc. Also it’s important to find some sort of meaning of your life before children. And to live your life first because children take away your freedom and that can cause you to resent the child because you feel like you didn’t really have a life beforehand. Now that your life is all about them and not about you anymore. Same with goals, many people who don’t achieve the things that they wanted to in their life, will then push it onto their kids and try to live through them. So, live your life first!!!! Humans lifespan is increasing due to technology and medicine so there is time to have kids. You can always freeze your eggs.(if you have the money to do so, which is possible if you’re financially responsible/literate) Last thing, don’t have kids because everyone around you is saying so. If you don’t want them, don’t have them. Even if you’re not sure. Wait until you are sure. Children are not accessories. They are human beings who will someday grow up and be their own individuals to navigate our earth. Don’t ruin their childhood because of your mistreatment and resentment because you didn’t want them in the first place. Be responsible. They can’t choose who their parents are.

She’s done this with all her kids in the old kardashian show. Not necessarily about the kid part but she pressured them all to start dating and getting married. She kept saying that when she was twenty she already married and had kids, that’s why kourtney rushed to have kids even though her partner was not very ideal, it’s why kim got married loads of times and always cried about wanting a kid and she was getting so old, and it’s why khloe rushed to the alter with a man she knew for only 2 weeks. Kylie wants to be a young mom just like her mom cause I’m sure it was instilled in her brain from a young age. I feel bad.

I have accomplished most of these but didn't know I had childhood trauma until after I had kids. It's fine, it's something that's going to take decades to heal. It makes me a better parent, too, because I know what definitely not to do.
