when he talks it doesn't even sound like he has an accent, but than there's certain words that he misses or doesn't pronounce right, that's the only thing that would give away that he's french GO PENS GO!
for those of u wondering what stick it is, it is a ST painted as an S17. his stick has the resin blade and it isnt tapered. the stick he uses now is an s19 pure and an rs.
some players use blade tape, so the bottom of the stick is still polished and slippery. the sanding makes it more rugged, and stick the the ice fibers.
Actually, NHL players are masters at getting dressed/undressed, so some undress between periods and change their equipment to something clean and light (no sweat)
I had a couple of those, still like the first synergy series either with the red or blue lettering. Still got one that's pretty much mint, Sakic curve favorite.
take a look and do some research. i have a lot of totalone prostocks dressed as one95 and i also have some sts dressed as s19s and rs'. all for marketing.
@sskillafornia Actually, a lot of pros do it. Pavel Datsyuk had a dressed up 11k that was really a 10k. When the Vapor XXXX sticks came out the majority of pros still had Vapor XXXs dressed up as Vapor XXXXs. Its for marketing, because sometimes the new sticks arent as well liked.
do you mean when he uses the sand paper to smooth out the blade? That makes sure that the blade is nice and smooth, so there aren't any bumps that were made during production. when he takes the grinder thing, that makes it so he has a better grip of the shaft.
Da choppa by the way, the most important thing is comfortability so having “a strong hand on top” doesn’t matter one bit. You have two donimances which is stick(hockey stick shovel etc.) donimance and writing donimance. Oh yeah there’s also kicking and throwing
@sskillafornia You can google it if you really think I'm not being honest. I've seen a lot of pro stock sticks(not bragging I just have), and sometimes if you peel paint off you could see it was just painted over. Like when Warrior took over the company Innovative, when they first put out there newest stick, if you peeled the paint off it said "Innovative" under it.
