Our Employment Headstart Program helps and encourages people with spinal cord injuries to get back to work when they feel ready. The ‘Back on Track with My Career’ Series details the journeys of eight people who have suffered a spinal cord injury and how they have found satisfying and fulfilling careers. Kristen had always wanted to teach and after her injury she kept her dream alive by obtaining a role as a classroom mentor for Big Brothers and Sisters, where she then entered the ECE program.
