Bo and Hope were what made the show back in the 80s and 90s because they had such amazing chemistry. Kristian Alfonso is still beautiful and I have heard she is a very sweet woman. Wish her the best!!

Me too. 1983. Bo & Hope re-meet. That’s when I got more interested in the show. I had already watched a little of original Roman & Marlena and Doug & Julie because my mom watched Days occasionally, but Kristian and Peter were IT for me.
I remember it I was only a teenager in the 80s.........My mom would tape days for me on a tape recorder........ I had a huge crush on Peter reckell........Kristian Alfonso said that red coat she wore in the alley with Bo.........It was her red coat.....When she took off with Bo on the motorcycle the first time ......It was a great scene first meeting......Hope was a model was on magazine covers.......She was always gorgeous women........And a great actress...... They had awesome chemistry with each other.....He called her little one.....She hated it.......Than he called her fancy face.......She would call him Brady........
Soooooo sad, but she has left a legacy that CAN NOT be matched., nor can her shoes be filled. Kristian will be tremendously missed. Wishing her the absolute best
Maybe she just go tired of them pulling out the same old storylines over and over again. I mean Princess Gina again? Seriously? She deserved more than that.
Thank the writers fir the demise of this show . Time jump as an example , I realize it’s daytime tv but the viewers are more savvy than what the writers give credit for. So many story lines with repeat over repeat .
I've watched days since I was a little girl and I'm 64 now. My favorite show ever. I only watch this one. I wish Hope the best but I really wish she would stay along with many others.
I've been watching Hope for those 37 yrs. We r the same age. I would of fell for Bo too. My life was identical. Even my boyfriend had a motorcycle like his. I was 16 and he was 19. Those were the good old days. ! Keep an open mind. Hope will come back sometime. God willing.
I don't blame her for leaving. we'll all miss her but think she's right.I wouldn't want to leave for about six months either. At that point, I think I'd go too. Nice to see her so humble about her career.I will be on the lookout for her next project.
they will regret this....they need these core characters if this show is going to go on....what are the powers that be thinking ??!! How did they expect her to react by writing her off for up to 5 months ! What an insult !
The show was once great. But with stunts like Steve Johnson becoming Stefano DiMera. Hope now leaving. I think I am done. Why did they have to pick 2020 of all years to do this?

Is Ron Carlivati still writing for Days? I don't watch soaps or GH anymore for reasons I won't get into here, but I was a huge Spinelli and Maxie fan and he completely destroyed them saying "they're better as friends" when Guza had specifically written them to be soul mates and destiny.. Carlivati thought Spinelli/Bradford Anderson wasn't attractive enough and that the hot girl should be with a hot guy.. but they were a beautiful story of falling in love with a person's heart and being terrified of love because of how much you've been hurt. Anyway.. Carlivati is really the worst and if he's still writing for Days, it doesn't surprise me he'd make a terrible move like that.
I remember seeing her as a little girl in the early 80s she was so beautiful and still is and god bless you do you girl ! You will be remembered as a great hope and bow !
Honestly I love Kristian but IT'S TIME. The last few years without Bo, it's like they didn't know what to do with Hope. I didn't care for her romantic pairings and recent storylines they put her in were just not great. Wasn't happy with The Princess Gina saga they recently did. Sad to say, I think it's time to say goodbye to Hope. If they aren't going to bring Bo back or put her in a great story than it's just painful to watch this epic and iconic character go down the tubes like she's been doing.
I don't think it would have been hard to write well for her, too. This wasn't a case of her flopping good stories. It was a case of them destroying anything with potential for her. They unnecessarily destroyed all the Aiden & Hope investment for a two week return. They destroyed her next on-screen relationship with the very bad and unnecessary murder cover-up. I thought the Gina story could have been really good but like most stories on this show it started looking like it could be great and continued and ended with floppy story-telling.

I remember when Hope was born. Her mother Addie was killed by a hit and run She was able to push hopes baby carriage to safety. Kristian Alfonso has been such a big part of Days and has been one of the most beautiful women in TV.
Ever since Peter Reckell left, the writers have portrayed Kristen as a disoriented, weak person. And I know she probably hated it. Hope was a courageous romantic with a little mischief. DOOL will not be the same without you and blessings on whatever life leads you!!
The memories of me watching Bo and Hope was what made Days of Our Lives. You two had great chemistry and I was a teenager at that time. It was a true romance...You will be missed. Stay Blessed 🙌
I haven't seen it in years but as a kid, I easily got hooked & I dont do that easily with soaps. I still remember my first episodes, Marlena was possessed & from there I always had no problem coming back to it

When I was a kid, my girl cousin forced me to watch Days during summer break and I eventually got hooked for years. However, the story lines started to get crazy with demon possession and I stopped watching. I loved Jennifer and Hope. I even loved hope more when she had some weight on her way back in the day.
Days of our lives needs to respect their core characters which they don’t. Too many recasts Too many new characters the audience don’t connect with and the writing is awful
WOW... I'm 38, and haven't watched Days since high school. (I used to set my VCR to tape it and watch it with a sesame seed bagel and Diet Dr.Pepper when I got home 😄). She looks practically the same! Lovely lady.
I used to yell at my mom when she forgot to tape it. One day I came home the episode didn’t tape and all of a sudden there was a new Jenifer Horton I was so confused. Lol

I watched in my teens in the mid 90’s until early 00’s and periodically checked in to see what was going on. I’m not a soap opera person but this show got me hooked.
You will be greatly missed. Have watched days from day 1 and not missed an episode. Have been disappointed for a while with the story line and the comings, goings, and returning of characters. Will greatly miss my fellow Brocktonian, Kristian. Best of luck to you and congratulations on moving on!

I met her in person at the studio when I was a junior in high school and she was in her mid 20s. It was an amazing experience. She's my favorite of all times i will miss her dearly love her
Grew up as a child in South Africa watching Days of our lives it was in 1998 when I first watch them "HOPE" what a character Days of our Lives should regarded as the best thing that has ever been played on TV.
Both ladies will be missed very much❤😓 Have watched days since I was 7 yrs old when it started back in 1965. Yeah, that long😡😓👍❤ Watched Kristian play Hope all these years. She and Bo were one if my fave super couples ever. Hasn't been the same Days since so many of the older cast members passed. Final nail in its coffin was when the great Joe Mascolo passed away. And the more they tried to "replace" him AND Stephano, the less I watched. Final final final straw was turning Steve Nichols aka Patch into Stephano. Steve's a great actor and I ❤ him but c'mon writers. 😡 And once Bo left, they have kicked Hope all over the place. I at least liked her with Rafe , he wasn't Bo but next best thing. Then they broke them up. Then last, she too going back to Gina..😡 Nope. I will miss this beautiful lady we will always love and have watched her mature as an actress and woman...she came as a very young pretty, insecure, teenage Hope and Kristian and we've watched both turn into a sophisicated, lovely, amazing lady. Thank you sweetheart for gracing our lives and screens for all these years. You will be so missed as will Hope, but I certainly understand your decision and wish you well. I also must tell you Kristian that my husband passed away a short time before "Bo" did. As we got older and he was ill and home during the day with me, he watched Days with me. He loved you and Bo and after he died there was a period I didn't watch TV at all. So depressed I just slept as much as I could. Then I saw that Peter and Stephen were returning and I started watching again. I'm probably the only fan on the planet who didn't know Peter's return was very brief and that Bo would die until he did in your arms. I cried like a baby, for Bo and Hope and for my husband and me. I didn't realize how much grief I was still holding inside myself and needed to let go of. Then I continued to watch and cry thru the completion of their story when Hope couldn't let go. Then Zack came back and you nailed the grieving process so well hon that mirrored my own. I still take it one day at a time but I'm better. Just wanted to thank you for helping me thru your amazing journey with Hope's loss and pain. We have watched you grow up Fancy Face. As Kristian and as Hope. Watched you get married and have children as both. Watched you both soar. God bless you and your family. Be well, healthy and happy. Know that we all love you both, going to miss you both❤😓.
I've watched Kristin literally grow up on Days. It will be odd to not see her anymore but I think it's a good move for her. She's been there a very long time. She deserves time to herself now , & possibly resume her career on prime time tv again. I wish her much luck.

I am now 87 years, ahem, young & very fortunate to have been able to watch DOOL since the 1960's. Do I have to say how much I'll miss Hope, No because there aren't enough words to express my thoughts on that. All I can say is, Kristian you brought many hours of complete joy to this ole gal & I'll definitely miss you but dearly wish you GREAT HAPPINESS IN YOUR FUTURE. I loved Jennifer and Steve as well and I always loved watching Bo Brady and Hope, their story line. They were my favourite couple. She was the nominated and won the most beautiful Day time Soap Opera Actress. She is still beautiful and sincere. We love you Kristen and we all wish you well always. Not true, she debuted in 1983left in 1987 to pursue primetime and films she and did the nighttime soap opera Falcon Crest from 1988-1990, she returned for few months on 1990 to “die” and the. Came back in 1994, so aside for a few months in 1990, she wasn’t on the show at all from 1987-1994

When they ask you to take a 4 to 5 month “pause” that means you will not be paid. And then they probably wanted to pay much less when she would come back. Who could blame her for saying no thanks.
I would really love to see her as a no nonsense business woman on Y&R, ideally. A cross between Gina (DAYS)/Lauren (Melrose Place) with a sprinkle of Hope. She plays a fabulous heroine but I think this is another type of role she would really work in. I'd like to see her clashing with Victor and Jack for a run.
There has never been a couple better than Bo and Hope! The story lines were fantastic! In the 80's and 90s. Kristin and Peter had the best chemistry! I'm sorry to see Kristin go!

I started watching DOOL in 1965 when it began. I was 5. Of course I missed episodes but when VHS came out I recorded. DOOL is kicking off a major actor. Leave for 5 to 6 months. They will be off the air soon

WOW!!! An actress that's finally being upfront about behind the scenes lousy discussions! Thank you Kristin! It's hard and heartbreaking to see core characters leaving because I grew up with Days! I'm just a couple of years older than she is; but, I remember my mom watching this show every day.... I do not want to see my beloved soap going off the air! Nor do I want to see core characters being let go, put on the back canvas, or whatever.... Maybe I need to come out there and take over the writing --- I'd get us in the number one slot again --- guaranteed 😁 I'm convinced this show's going off the air after 2021 and they're just tying up loose ends.... if so, I just wish these writers would get it right for once.... We DESERVE to have this show go out on top!
