It's amazing how these tractors are really like part of the family as they faithfully put in a day's work 2,3 or 4 generations down the line. That tangible, physical link is priceless to family that have passed on.

Kristin helped me find my Dad's tractor. Somebody replied to him on a facebook page. They gave him a serial # of their 1206. It was the one I was looking for for 14 years. 2 states away and well kept 👍

IMO the 1206 is one of the best looking tractors ever made!.. 💘 the white Grille, Wheels and Fenders!!

I totally agree, a design icon, and a bit of a beast to boot. Hard to believe they only made them for 2 years. Also, I believe this is the tractor that Firestone developed 38" tyres for

I grew up helping on a friends farm. One spring his dad bought a 1206. It was a beast! We were in awe! That tractor was powerful! Handled that farm operation with for 30 years without fail! #CornBinder!

ih1206 too bad. I could have put you on an auction with the International 1206 (not Farmall) and it only brought $2500 Canadian. We were short of cash and have a good 1206 so we didn't buy it.

I will never forget the first 1206 I saw I was working for a farmer twenty four miles from my home, room and board one hundred and twenty dollars a month plowing with a old W and up on the hill a thousand yards away the neighbors sunk a six bottom plow in the ground a growling black smoking behemoth was the cause of envy 😎♥️

I have my Dads 1206 tractor. It is a 1966 year with 23.1 34 rear tires. 3400 hers or so and original. This was his big tractor. I know how you feel even though I didn't have to hunt or rebuild it. I bought it from my brother for more than its original price, but glad to get it. It still works today. Added a canopy and rops to it.

Wish I knew where the Farmall H went. It was the 1st tractor on the farm. I've got a picture of my Grandma about 16 year's old taken in 1944 on the H. It was traded in on a Farmall SMTA in 1954 that was the 1st New tractor on the farm. That was traded in on a J.D. combine in the early 70's. Nobody in the family alive knows what the serial numbers were.

Hopefully someday we get as lucky as Kristin got.. My Dad had a 68 Plymouth Roadrunner-( I know it's a car but it still has sentimental value to us..).. We do have the VIN for it and we know it's still registered.... If my Dad could ever buy it back , I bet he'd sell ALL his antique tractors-( He's getting tired of climbing on and off of tractors..)..

Easier to take a car to a show as well.. You don't need to trailer it like a tractor...

There is a page on facebook called Lost Muscle cars, post on that page with your VIN and any pictures and information you have and I bet they find it. It's unreal how many cars are found on that page, especially if you have the VIN. Good luck!
