Kristin Welchez (formerly Kristin Gundred) also known as Dee Dee of the Dum Dum Girls has a new album out on Sub Pop Records which debuts her new project Kristin Kontrol. She went shopping at Amoeba Music in Los Angeles and here's what she found:

I knew there was a reason I like the Dum Dum Girls and her. I love The Only Ones. I also love the fact that a band that calls themselves The Dum Dum Girls puts out very intelligent music. She's great and I will be checking out more of her music as Kristen.

Sinead's "This is the last day of our acquaintance" should have been what "nothing compares to you" was. Much stronger stronger song though not taking a shot at Prince, just Sinead's song was overlooked and is better.

+Mywork777 No knock on Bowie or Prince or anything but they literally wear the same weird shit. To a lot of artists it's more about the whole experience rather than just the music. To me, and most, it's just about the music though I'd say.
