I’m STILL doing it at 59…clubbing, seeing every DJ that speaks to my soul, and every rave I can find time to attend. I’ll give up when my knees give out.
Im 47 and had the best times of my life in this club, white gloves whistle in mouth and Double dropping at midnight. eyes rolling and chin shaking like a drum.. NEVER FORGET IT
Unfortunately, at least in Miami and maybe other big cities like NYC, there was a "crack down" on clubs due to them being considered as causing a form of rebellion or encouraging drug use to the youth. There were certain times where clubs had to close earlier and etc and that really hurt the club scene. Now with everyone being online, there aren't many incentives to go out since it's expensive at certain places and being that going to the club was one of the ideal ways to meet people. It's going to take a while for this scene to come back, but hey, I'm still dancing!
I seen her perform multiple times and she has the greatest talent even bringing instruments on stage and preform at the same time and dancing it was crazy cool a true artist
This classic will never ever die. This one and Show Me Love by Robin S still give that same feeling they gave me when I first heard it in the clubs in 1993 and I was happily under the influence of that 90s ecstasy ;D !
Still incredible today. ❤️ What a voice Kristine W has. Brings back so many memories of early morning’s, dancing at _ARENA in New York with Junior Vasquez ruling the after hours. Incredible memories ! 🙌🏻 🎧 We were going to CHURCH 🙏🏻
Todays dance music is so boring. No distinct rhythms or beats like the 1990s and even into the 2000s. Alot of the so called underground house music today are just rehashed songs.
The song was/is a classic.. Somehow i never saw the clip back in the day, but.... it is one of most coolest, sensual and most timeless music videos ever !!
One of my favorites from the golden era of house music! The club scene in early and mid ninetees was the best. i guess even better with those small mitsubishis :))
I can't believe I'm missed this back in the day!! - But on recent discovery ...... this tune has blown me away!! Everything... words, composition through to classic video production - Thank You Kristine W and ALL related!! Deep and classic toooon!! one for a re-master??
This will be an all time club classic one that still sounds fresh today. Not like the cheap rubbish that's out now. To all true clubbers out there the 90s rule love you all.
May 2019...this song has been my companion since its release. It is still just as poignant today as it was yesterday and tomorrow it will be just as meaningful!! Its not just about the beat(though it is still flawless)...lyrically it is so deep!!
gag I remember rolling to this at sound factory and roxys.Junior turned it with his mix.Loved it from the very first day I remember I was rolling on the double stacked groovers and we all know these were the best ecstacy there ever was.
the memories I have of this, going to junior disco's then 6 months later legally allowed to drink & all that came with the 90's excess, yahoooooooooo, I'm old & bald now :), but I still have the memories
One of my fave songs of all time. I still listen to the whole album this is from, "Land of the Living." Like many people have commented previously- truly timeless.
This is by far one of my favourite singers in time! The album (CD) I bought when released is/was amazing - Pure class in this genre of great music made in 1990-ties🕺🕺
Everything about this is so much more clever than you realise at your first dance step. So happy I was there. So happy they aired it on MTV. And if you don't think dancing can be better than sex, you haven't really danced.
I heard this on a local radio station in Birmingham UK back in 1994,Choice FM! Liked it so much I went to local record store & bought it,Still listening to i now in 2024! 🕺🕺🕺
FEEL WHAT YOU WANT The sun rises at nine departs at five Aint doing overtime no more Because in this world of color The brightest picture is plugged right into your wall And maybe theres a million people singing shoeshine blues To no one that theyve ever met before and Indifference is a drug that I see people buy At the local store, local store You, you, you think a little love is all you need But love is such a small thing cant you see I think youll find it sits in a book and changes the words that you read You just feel what you want it to be What you want it to feel What you want it to be Oh You just feel what you want it to be What you want it to feel What you want it to be The man in the moon has a cold in the back of his head today So dark is the river as the old bridge of lovers Finds its getting washed all away There are three wise men in the darkness of the desert Still trying to be finding their way The tables have been laid and the food has been served But the cost of eating is too much for most to pay You think a little love is all you need But love is such a small thing cant you see I think youll find it sits in a book and Changes the words that you read You just feel what you want it to be What you want it to feel What you want it to be Oh You just feel what you want it to be What you want it to feel What you want it to be Feel it, feel it Go ahead now go Well, you just feel what you want it to be What you want it to feel What you want it to be Oh You just feel what you want it to be What you want it to feel What you want it to be Feel what you want it to be What you want it to feel What you want it to be
A defining dance track, at age 22 as a social misfit the message "Feel what you want it to be" rang true to me. It's also 22 years ago, tempis fucking fugit!
